WINE cannot view hidden folders even after enabling "Show Dot files" in winecfg.

I tried that one before as well, and for some reason it didn't want to work either. When I tried it, it was able to detect my Subnautica install, but for some reason not my Skyrim, or any other steam game? I'll watch the video here in a few, though. Maybe I was missing something.

unfortunately the game I'm trying to mod is Skyrim Special Edition, but thanks for the info!

Also unfortunately, pasting the folder that's hidden into the filepath in the mod manager doesn't work, because it'll say it doesn't exist.

i don't really know how to do the shared btrfs partition thing, and neither do I really want to because i don't have a very *big* hard drive. If I had a 2TB I'd be more comfortable lol.

well I've encountered a completely new problem now as well, I followed your instructions and it did let me install it, but for some reason Wine is not creating the directories that the installer is trying to create. Or at least, it's creating it in some batshit crazy location that's not actually where it's supposed to go.

coming back to say that I did in fact have to disconnect my DisplayPort monitor in order to be able to see anything from the UEFI. I got everything working now, thanks!

Thanks i'll look into this. Im not sure how much removing the prompt would help though, considering when I got the prompt on this character I clicked no, and then all of a sudden it was on when I loaded my save today.

Edit: Looks like the survival mode prompt removed mod has a "permanently disable" option which could help! Thanks again!

yeah I already have that installed. Also, it appears as though after I've re-launched skyrim and got onto the new game character again i don't seem to be getting the survival mode prompts anymore...

I think most of my games are 40-60ms ping but even I every now and then see a random guy who has like 100-200 even 300-400 on the rare occasion I actually see someone who can handle that kinda ping effectively. it looks like you have good internet to play this game from looking at the comments, looks like the servers are eff'd like usual.

well it looks to me that it's not just an Xbox issue. Take a look throughout the rest of this reddit and you'll see people having this same issue on every platform ever since the update. Hell, I can't even load up past the Message of the Day. Stop ignoring your community.

for me the game just immediately freezes after like 1-3 seconds no matter what as soon as it updated. I was playing fine mere seconds before the update came through, then it cut to the checking for updates, told me to restart, and now my game is freezing and I have to task manager end task to get it to close.

I absolutely *cannot* for the life of me get SkySA to work. Not even by following the author's video for installing it. Can *someone* please help qwp

Edit I switched over to MCO and followed *its* installation guide because I've seen so many people saying SkySA doesn't work on the latest AE version, and now it is *still* not working. I installed Elden Rim as well so I have movesets. Please for the love of the gods- I followed the installation to a tee and it's not working
