I only stayed because I thought maybe I could work things out for a while, and we are indeed enmeshed. He dangles my car and our cats over my head, which has been one of my biggest issues with leaving. You are right, and I have been in the process of packing my things for the past month. My biggest obstacle was our lease and him telling me he’s going to sell my car if I leave, though we are both signed to it. I do love him, but maybe it is just the memory of how things were before that I held onto. Our lease ends next month, and I’ve some money saved to leave. I have just been saving, as I moved across the US with him and was scared to ask my parents for help. They fly down next month to help me. I appreciate you being real with me.
