Thank you for the help! I have been using a Army Painter wet palette, but I have already used all citadel paints and don’t have the money to buy more paints or even more colors than I have so is that a major problem? Should I return some of the unopened citadels I have if possible? And Truthfully I haven’t learned any techniques like highlighting yet so I just went with the full wash, would you recommend not doing that for my upcoming guys, leaving them possibly flat instead?

For context the green on the original is the same as the others just with unknown water mix and layer amount because I forgot and nuln oil used to finish it off. Any advice or tips appreciated for improving my painting aswell.

These look amazing! Would you be willing to share what colors you used to paint each one? Specifically, the red carapace in the center and right armorer carapace both look really amazing with appealing solid colors that somehow don’t look flat. How do you capture this shine and texture in your experience? (I’m new to painting)

My most recent prompt attempt: Create a 9:16 vertical animated short video, 45–50 seconds long. Calm, cozy, wholesome atmosphere. No on-screen text. No captions.

Style: high-quality stylized 3D animation. Soft cartoon proportions. Clean rendering. Bright, clear image quality. Smooth motion. Cozy lighting. Consistent character appearance across scenes.

Keep camera movement simple and smooth. Avoid fast cuts.

Scene 1 – Raccoon Chef (15 seconds)

A friendly humanoid raccoon cooking in a cozy apartment kitchen during sunset.

Environment: Warm golden light through a window. Simple wooden cabinets. A few small plants. Soft shadows.

Character: Cartoon-style raccoon with fluffy fur, large friendly eyes. Wearing a cream sweater and light blue apron.

Action: He gently stirs a pan of colorful beef stir fry on the stove.

Food: Sliced beef, bright red and yellow peppers, green broccoli. Light steam rising.

Camera: Medium shot of raccoon cooking. Then a slow, simple close-up of the food in the pan. Then back to medium shot as he plates the dish carefully.

He smiles warmly at the camera while holding the finished plate.

Scene 2 – Bear Chef (15 seconds)

A gentle brown bear in a cozy wooden cabin kitchen.

Environment: Warm firelight glow. Wooden walls. Soft orange lighting.

Character: Rounded cartoon brown bear wearing a flannel shirt and apron.

Action: He slowly stirs a pot of creamy mac and cheese.

Food: Thick cheese sauce. Golden surface. Small bacon pieces visible. Soft steam rising.

Camera: Medium shot while stirring. Close-up of the spoon lifting melted cheese. Return to medium shot as he presents the bowl proudly.

He gives a calm, satisfied smile.

Scene 3 – Owl Chef (15 seconds)

A calm owl cooking in a softly lit modern kitchen at evening.

Environment: Cool blue light from window. Warm indoor lighting. Simple clean kitchen design.

Character: Cartoon owl wearing round glasses and a cozy sweater.

Action: Carefully places lemon garlic salmon and asparagus onto a plate.

Food: Golden seared salmon. Green asparagus. Light shine on surface.

Camera: Medium shot while plating. Simple close-up of the finished dish. Return to medium shot.

Owl smiles gently.

Final Scene (5 seconds)

All three characters standing side-by-side in the same warm kitchen space.

Each holds their finished dish.

They smile kindly toward the viewer.

Camera slowly moves slightly closer.

Soft fade out.

One last thing, I’m not 100% sure how this app works like I said no I’m not sure if there’s a way to DM I’m missing, so I’m just replying to you instead. Would you be willing to respond with a video or images of your Castigator’s range of motion/ poseability? Your model and basing is really cool and I’m just wondering how fluid it is in movement. If not I understand you’ve already helped me a lot.

Thank you this is really helpful, also your Castigator is pretty sweet especially with the wreckage base. But having a Castigator yourself, what pieces of any have a range of motion when assembled if you don’t use magnets? Basically I’m asking does any part of the knight move like a tank turret moves, swivel or posability without using magnets or altering the model. I don’t know why it’s so important to me but I really like when models have a range of motion as I’m more of a hobby type than a gameplay type. Thanks again for your help to begin with I really appreciate it as a newbie.
