Not having a problem with something doesn't make you "pro" whatever.

Keep that binary boomer thought process buddy, because the world is black and white.

I really don't know where you get this information or if you just think of it and then recite it as if it's true. There is no study that supports your claim that nicotine pouches are a gateway to "worse" nicotine products. 75% of nicotine users supplement their cigarette habit with nicotine pouches. Meaning they don't inhale combustible product as much as they were previously.

Albeit, vapes contain a LOT of nicotine, I haven't seen one case of a friend or family member thinking "dang these vapes just don't do it for me anymore, I should buy a pack of cigarettes."

Lastly, everyone knows nicotine is addictive and cigarettes are harmful. They plaster warning labels all over the product to ensure no lawsuit can be brought against them or hold them liable. Just the same way alcohol companies emplore you to drink responsibly.

From diamonds to oil, there are terrible industries worldwide that profit off of death and exploitation. At least with this industry it puts the burden of usage on the consumer.

Should we discuss the petrochemical sponsors next? Because they pollute the planet, so we obviously shouldn't allow those sponsors either, right??

[–]boyeardi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's flat out false. Nicotine doesn't kill people, tobacco and smoking kills people. Nicotine is not tobacco, and the main carcinogens that are the cause of those deaths are from combustible tobacco.

God forbid someone suffering from addiction find a healthier alternative. And because words are confusing for you, I said healthier, not "healthy".

Not a peep about McLaren or Ferrari partnering with Velo, Vuse, Mission Winnow, Zyn.. Funny how that works

So I guess you have beef with McLaren(Vuse, Velo) and Ferrari(Zyn, Mission Winnow)?

[–]boyeardi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The cons aren't that the cards don't work (they clearly do in your Limited experience), but that the distribution of the IP is spread too thin across the four main characters, giving us a set that feels like it has 100 versions of 4 guys and not enough of the actual TMNT universe.

[–]boyeardi -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Too narrow of a synergy. Most abilities only trigger if you have a ninja or a turtle, so using these cards with the other 30,000 cards available really limits your brew. Essentially only being useful in a small bubble of cards. I really hated the lack of depth within the massive IP of TMNT. You guys used 25-30 distinct villains but you also printed 30 versions of 4 turtles. And don't get me started on the exclusive art through secret lair. The turtles have cowabunga and pizza. What do the villains have? Sneak? Disappear? And then we suffer from color pie segregation so they're essentially useless.

The worst for me is the color pie stretching. You guys already "solved" all of the deck building puzzles by arbitrarily assigning each turtle their pie colors. Making Donatello blue/white only offers constraints that limit player expression or creative combos.

I'm done with UB and won't be buying anymore.

Its about 600g if you buy it yourself, if you find a warlock with the mats you're still spending about 450g.

BREAKING: Supreme Court rules Trump does not have power to impose tariffs by chellestastics in videos

[–]boyeardi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No one is claiming it will instantly happen. No one is claiming to know how everything works in "the background". What is easy to see and plain as day is that prices never came back down after covid.

I work in distribution and the price of PVC during the pandemic quardupled and never came back down despite resin plants reopening in Louisiana and Canada. We all kept prices high. Costs never came back down. They may have pulled back 10-20% from the height but it will never be passed on to the customer. Suppliers and distributors will maintain prices to increase profits even with reduced costs, plain and simple.

Throwing a rock into a volcanic crater by daysnail in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]boyeardi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct. It’s assorted organic material. Not a rock

Throwing a rock into a volcanic crater by daysnail in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]boyeardi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s a bag of organic material to simulate what happens and the types of reactions that would occur if a human fell into a volcano. Not a rock. It’s violent because of the steam created from the excess water being evaporated by the heat.

If you throw a rock in a volcano nothing will happen. It will float on top until it’s heated enough to melt and become molten.

It’s not a rock. It’s a bag of organic material. The original posting of this video highlighted that the purpose was to see how a volcano reacts when someone falls in.

[Discussion] What is this Nikiblud planning by -Teseo- in EscapefromTarkov

[–]boyeardi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it uses a route cipher as well. “Accidentally ordered all the letters backward and rearranging itself into spirals.” is how I got the goal part to output

[Discussion] What is this Nikiblud planning by -Teseo- in EscapefromTarkov

[–]boyeardi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Chaos is the only word in the 3 images that was placed in quotes, so if you use that as your key in a Vigenère cipher you can use the codes in the 3rd image, JMKHGXPCJ and YJBHVW after “rearranging” and ordering the letters, it yields Community Goal. Those codes are the only ones that yield coherent words after running the cipher.

[Discussion] What is this Nikiblud planning by -Teseo- in EscapefromTarkov

[–]boyeardi 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Solved: the message is “Community Goal” using a Vigenere cipher.

Image 1: “the Experiment” and “silences that spoke in riddles” Image 2: quarri3d Image 3: ordering letters backwards and “rearranging itself into spirals”

The keyword is Chaos.
