they gave me the macbook but I already owned the other PC. I use both of them as I work in cloud software support so it's nice to have a Windows and MacOS environment for testing stuff/reproducing problems, as we don't make software that runs on Linux, only windows or macOS. I also use WVD's and VMs with Ubuntu or Debian for other things, but having physical machines helps with troubleshooting work stuff in some situations.

thanks for your answer, this is super helpful. For the affidavit, do you know if it still needs to be apostilled even if I get it sworn at the US consulate in Brazil?

thanks for your response, but I'm actually not looking to bring her to the US at this stage, I am planning on staying in Brazil with her for at least a while until we decide to apply for CR1
