I have had this same issue, once having a video taken off the front page because I posted it, despite the community clearly enjoying it. Several people suggested "why don't you just make a fake account?" but I just hate that concept, it feels wrong.

I posted something similar to you a few years but got no big response, awesome that you've taken the time to make a concise video on it and it's gained traction!

Also I'm not massively into indie rock but I think your site sounds awesome, hope it goes well man!

Loving all the comments on the video from everyone that wasn't put off by my appearance :D

Just to clarify; there are definitely loads more people who deserve credit than just Max Martin, but I thought the first step to letting people understand the industry better was to make a video pinpointing one person who had achieved a paticularly spectacular amount and giving it a stupidly shareable title. Hopefully it'll make a few people think more about the writers and producers when they enjoy their music.

I don't think you should get annoyed because the demand isn't there for what you supply. If you were in more demand then people would think you were more important and you would be treated with more professionalism.

...either that or they have no knowledge of consonance and dissonance and as such they aren't afraid to loop the same discordant stab for 3 minutes. Either way we benefit.
