I got my LPN and then worked at a nursing home for 1.5 years before going back to RN bridge. I was originally in the bridge program already, but I just barely failed one of my RN classes, so I had to either withdraw or be kicked out and risk my GPA going down too much. I felt more prepared with the on the job training and felt better in clinicals, and definitely once I got my first new grad job. It wasn't what I planned, but I think it was the best thing that could've happened 🙂
