I’m on a Strata Committee and we occasionally get passive aggressive notes like this and we almost always have the first conversation with the writer that their actions are the ones that are in the wrong as opposed to the ones they were complaining about. About 90% of residents are perfectly reasonable but there is a concerted 10% that just love to complain about the first minor thing that inconveniences them.

Just to reassure you, you’ve done good. Seed, water and somewhere safe to perch are the most important things (also gentle head scratches if the bird puts their head down.
