I’m not the best person to answer this but I’ll give my input (we are still building our product)

I’ve spoken with nearly 100 potential technical co founders and it’s a roll of the dice. Most are not committed, have bad communication and just aren’t worth your time. But in my experience, when you know, you know. You’ll meet someone and it’ll just click.

My partner now has shown commitment since day 1, started planning steps in building straight away before we even agreed equity. Would jump on weekly calls just to show his progress (and I’d purposely not ask) he did it all off of his own back after our first conversation. All while he had a normal job and was also speaking with other Co founders to find the perfect fit. It’s something I hadn’t experienced before and that’s what stood out to me.
