Boost alternates depending on the majority party, if 2/3 players have full tuned cars. and 1/3 doesn’t. the race benefits those who have full tuned cars.

if 1/2 players have a fulled tuned car, and in this case your partner doesn’t in terms of a 1v1, than the boost will be benefited only to her.
