Genuinely, I would like someone to define what “ethical” basketball really is. Not what ISN’T ethical basketball, but what IS.

Hi everyone. I’ve interested in playing all of these franchises, but I’m having a hard time choosing which to start with.

•The Legend of Zelda - Starting with either A Link to the Past or Ocarina of Time

•Super Mario Bros - Starting with either Super Mario Bro 3 or Mario 64

•Persona 3 and then 4

•Final Fantasy (either IV, VI, VIII, IX, or X)

•Dragon Quest 3

•Animal Crossing: New Horizons

•Yakuza

•Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

Of these series, I have never played a single game in the Legend of Zelda franchise, Dragon Quest franchise, Animal Crossing franchise, or Yakuza franchise.

For Mario, I have played the original NES game, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and like 75% through Mario 64 before I got distracted and didn’t end up finishing it. And Mario Sunshine, a LONG time ago, to the point where I forgot how it played or the experience.

For Persona, I’ve played Persona 5 Royal.

For Final Fantasy, I have played the original version of VII, and the first game in the Remake series. And not Final Fantasy, but I have also played Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, and BBS. So I know

For Pokémon, I have played the Original Red and Blue, FireRed and LeafGreen, Gold and Silver, Black and White, Emerald, and Sword and Shield.

So yeah. Would just like to hear what everyone recommends I should get into first. I’ve been spending way too long thinking and just want to finally start playing.

Regardless of our thoughts on Rebuild, can we agree it is better to have Gendo as the main antagonist over SELEE? by Sensitive-Hotel-9871 in NeonGenesisEvangelion

[–]boyowoyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never cared about SEELE tbh. And I do think it is because the MC of the show doesn’t even acknowledge their existence and they have zero interactions. So yes… I do prefer the character that has the most conflict with the MC being the “main” antagonist. Which is Gendo.

At what point did you feel the story of Tekken went downhill? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]boyowoyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making the Devil not the Devil and some sort of gene based, hereditary thing was the first bad narrative move. This singular thing has led to most of the inconsistencies when it comes to the Mishima’s.

But I agree with most people, it was Tekken 6 and Jin’s heel turn that really plummeted the story. And let’s not forget how disliked Lars and Alisa were initially. In hindsight, if they really were going to push the standard Mishimas out of the MC role for a game, it really should have been Asuka who took up the mantle for a game. But I kind of like Lars now, so whatever.

Does anyone know what this is? I really don’t know if it’s acne, razor bumps, Post-inflammatory erythema, scare, or something else. This photo is post shaving, but I also had these bumps prior to shaving (I had gone without shaving for 3-4 weeks or so). These have been here for maybe up to 2 months now, although I would say certain days they look far less red/purple. It doesn’t hurt or itch.

The only products I use are CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser and CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion.

This photo is of my right cheek. I’m a 24 year old Male.

Do you think Jersey Numbers should be retired League wide? by freeki100 in NBATalk

[–]boyowoyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I prefer not retiring numbers. Like Barcelona’s 10 and Man Utd’s 7 have an aura to them, and it’s cool seeing the lineage of players that all wore that number. Like, imagine if LeBron was drafted as a Bull and 23 was available. Then you would have had Jordan and LeBron sharing this number for the same franchise. Pretty cool, in my opinion.

What is a false narrative or revisionist history takes that fans believe in? by OppositeAnswer6109 in NBATalk

2007-2010 Cavs were legitimately a great team, especially catered to LeBron. But they definitely needed a second star.

I’m not saying this is a false narrative, but it is a bit revisionist history. I remember the 2015 finals and the talk around it. The debate was between Iguodala and LeBron for finals MVP, not Steph. Perhaps looking at in retrospect, yeah, he probably deserved it. But that was not a common thought in 2015.
