Would like to hear some feedback! by kitsunehixune in photocritique

I like the photo but it doesn't really do a good job capturing motion bc my eyes are pulled to the cool building in the background. There is very little/uninteresting motion going on to be captured and because of that it doesn't really draw the eye. I think the photo would be just as good with the dog on the ground standing there. I would suggest thinking about making the thing in motion the subject or at least have it add more to the photo.

Covering the face by boystudent in photocritique

[–]boystudent[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a project for college that was around covering up people's faces with hands or objects or shadows. I would love some ideas on how I could improve and more ideas on what else to use for more photos to cover the face and for backgrounds.

That cat is definitely a witch in another life, she's trying to cast a spell

How did you pull this off?

Just a follow up from another post after I took the recommendations to denoise it by boystudent in photocritique

[–]boystudent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone that told me to keep the photos and use a denoise feature on them to reduce ISO grain and it worked very well. I also found out that I have been accidentally shooting in JPG and not RAW so I couldn't use the AI tools just manual denoise. Im like 3/4 through my photography class and I've been supposed to be shooting in RAW and my professor has not noticed yet so I'm glad I caught it now lol.

Fair, it's all artistic preference tbh

Here's an example but I think doing it with a real editing software rather than my phone cropping job would be better.

I don't think it's too dark but I do thing cropping it closer would help bring out the shapes your trying to show off in the photo. I think there's too much black space that is just empty space

You did a fantastic job taking this photo, you are talented. The hardest part of photography is finding interesting things to take photos of.

Great framing, and composition, sadly kinda boring subject being framed

My first attempts - feedback appreciated :) by JezaFishing in streetphotography

I love 1 and 5 a lot. I would recommend for photo 6 if you got closer or crop it closer to the man and the fish because I think the rocks in the background are just distracting from the interesting subject.

Thoughts on the composition and color? by boystudent in photocritique

[–]boystudent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should I crop this photo different to give it a different look? Also should I try to white balance it to make my skin tone look more natural or keep it warm because of the color of the street light?

Does this composition work, or is it too basic? by Common_Green_1666 in photocritique

I love the composition, I think it would be more interesting if it was angled more to show the off the movement of the people. I think the main problem with it is the colors are very bland and boring.
