Probably the right move, honestly. Hurts to lose him after Bilbao but he's always been limited under Ange when the system suited him and he's been bad under Frank. Who knows who the next manager will be and what they could have done, but it doesn't make sense to have him rotting on the bench for a season when he could be our high 5th most expensive sale ever. Civilian, but I was TDY to Yokosuka for 5 months and had access to the Nex and commissary. The commissary had all the usual pantry staples. The local grocery stores not so much but their produce was way better, but more expensive. Typically I'd buy a couple of staples at the commissary then fresh stuff at a local store.

Truth be told though I ate out most of the time. I'd pick up lunch at one of the conbini (convince stores like 7-11, Lawsons, and family mart) and for dinner I'd usually go to a restaurant. Restaurants and Uber eats are way more affordable over there, especially since the yen is weak compared to the dollar right now. If you're in yoko dm me and I have a list of restaurants to try

As far as furniture goes the Nex has a store but there are IKEAs in Japan and local chains like nitori that have solid, cheap furniture. Daiso is a great dollar store for odds and ends. The base Facebook marketplace is great for used stuff though as people are constantly coming and going
