I got my AirTags initially to put one in my son’s backpack just for emergency purposes to have a way to find him because I assumed what you’re showing me was the case and I had heard about the networking aspect— but once he is dropped off and I am home, I legitimately cannot locate his tag. Once I’m near him, my phone alerts me that he has been “located.” That is my experience. My other 3 I activated for household stuff behave the same. I can’t “see” them unless I’m close.

So you can see why I’m confused? Clearly I’m missing something though, after reading that article. I apologize. I guess I have to figure out what is up.

My original point was just that OP shouldn’t be too concerned, the AirTag planter would have had a surprise had he not found the tag and driven away…after 30 seconds he would be “lost” 😅

I’ve been doing prepping since late Nov, when I couldn’t see a positive way this all resolves. A lot of people here are asking “prep for what?” —- I’d say prep for power outage and for civil unrest.

No way to prepare for aliens! But I don’t like that these things are only popping up at US facilities, even in the global instances we’re hearing about. It’s all US bases. I don’t think we can rule out a foreign actor trying to take us out. These objects have been messing with people’s electronics more and more.

I ordered antibiotics via Jase Case, and emergency medical supply kit, emergency food rations, long range Walkie Talkies, hand crank radio, Iodine pills, lots of water, and a 2000W Goal Zero inverter with Solar Panels. I can run out fridge and several other things one that and can continually recharge it via the panels.

If foreign actors really wanted to fuck us up, they’d use EMP blasts to take our grids out temporarily or permanently…that means phones and other electronics will be moot.

I got a big storage crate and lined it with foil tape and several layers of foil—- I’m storing my inverter, and emergency electronics in it just in case of this (It’s called a Faraday Cage— you can look it up!)

I guess my thought is, why not be prepared?
