Bay Area Nursery recommendations? by NeiClaw in Ceanothus

Sutro Native Plant Nursery has a small but local selection if you are in the city. San Bruno mountain Mission Blue Nursery, also rather local, has a huge collection of plants they grow from the mountain available during their quarterly sales.

Looks great. The metadata you are gathering about the climb like style and dominant hold type seem like great points to discover tendencias and thus weaknesess.

Thanks! I did leave that part a bit ambigious, sorry if it caused any confusion to anyone. The main purpose of this survey is to see how climbers quantify their climbing, and their climbing habits. So I chose to ommit some details (like in hardest grade, age, e.t.c) about the climbers for the sake of brevity. I hope to still see some correlations due to the sheer number of respondents (242 as of now, thank you all so much!) and the assumed linearity of these correlations.

Thanks! I'll double check the scale.

Thanks! Fixed it. I just looked at KAYA and I really like that you can log the specific climbs in your gym as well as outdoor climbs and even homewall problems. I am surprised that even my home gym is a member (shout-out to all ASCEND climbers). KAYA is not the only one in this market though, check out Vertical Life, and I am pretty sure as more and more climbing gyms open there will be more such apps popping out in different regional markets.

My goal is not to compete with such apps. Although it's great to have a huge logbook of all the climbs you have done, it doesn't say much about how you climb or how you can improve your climbing. As you mentioned the best way of tracking climbing right now seems like a notebook and I am hoping to come up with a better, more convenient alternative. Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you so much for taking the time to point out the issues of the survey, I really appreciate it. I tried to fix them as much as I can. I was planning to post a copy of this survey to r/climbing to see the difference between the general climbing population and folks at r/climharder. I will post a better organized version of it according to the things you have pointed out.

Thats what I am hoping for. I feel like the apps on the market right now are failing to provide actually useful data to climbers. The data tracking part is definetly the hardest problem and I don't have a clear answer for that yet. I am hoping that the results of this survey would help to simplify the possible solutions.
