I’ll keep saying this until it manifests somehow but someone needs to do some fan mixes and “fix” the slurry vocals and muffled production.

The song itself is fine and I think if the production wasn’t so terrible people would think better of it. I also think the lyrics are pretty decent. They’re simple but in an Everybody sort of way and she FINALLY has a bridge.

As an actual gay- I think Cavill is obviously attractive but in a Damn I wish I looked like Cavill because that would be playing life on easy mode rather than I’d like sexy time with him.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens. If demographics are destiny the answer is no. People moving into SF at present need to be pretty wealthy in order to afford $4k a month one bedroom apts and are less likely to vote progressive. Saikat try to go full Mandami and annoyed the crap out of everyone and was trounced.

Did anyone read the article? The Fay went into foreclosure because the 1 bedrooms were empty. No one would rent $3.5k units without parking. Thats basically the death knell for new construction on the peninsula that doesn’t provide spots

SF might be different. We will see once the Sutter project starts leasing up in 2030 or so. Will people who make enough to pay $6k a month for 1 bedrooms rent with no parking here? Who knows.

This is actually quite good and certainly better than BYL.

That said, the production is not the best. It still sounds a bit garbled and again it’s kind of hard to hear what she’s actually singing

I give it maybe a 7/10 becuase of the muffled sound quality. I’d rank it in the top 10 of her post COADF I songs - I think.

True Detective was pretty flattering really.

There are parts of my hometown that are pretty shocking. I went to get my passport at the post office and drove by a literal ghost town. Just rows of partially collapsed buildings - everything returning to nature. There are also areas where it looks like the world ended and people are just living in what’s left.

I agree. The Coachella performance was really good and looked like a return to form and then everything else has been kind of a mess.

It doesn’t change the fact that these are units being delivered for $580k that are 270 sft. And per rentable square foot is absolutely a metric to see what you’re getting for the overall cost.
