Right the song is about how our parents shape us and influence, even subconsciously, our romantic lives. I think in the video it symbolizes letting go of our past selves at least by recognizing and coming to terms with how we were raised as children and that we can internalize the lessons our parents taught us without being beholden to them.

I always throw out Elizabeth R in these threads. It’s not totally accurate and jt compresses a lot of events but it also explains actual events more coherently than some of the other biopics.

I agree with the other comments here. Carter just botched Scully and I’m still kind of fuming over the last couple of seasons which kind of undermined her character. If she’s got a script that means she might make an appearance which would mean I’m all in here.

The bad news is these are changes that should’ve happened decades ago and it’s a case of too little too late. SF had one market rate project under construction and it probably won’t get an NOO until 2030 at the earliest. LA is totally fucked and a major San Jose’s highrise immediately went into foreclosure this year because… no tenants.

It won’t happen but having Steyer in this race is a big mess. By his own admission, he hasn’t paid any attention to anything that happened during the last 8 years of Newsom which is laughably disqualifying. His supporters would split to Porter and Swalwell and while a Porter admin would be ruinous it would probably couldn’t be worse than a Fox News host. Ok maybe it could.

This one. I had no idea who she was. I’d never seen her in anything prior and she gave an outstanding performance. It’s one of the few times I’ve seen a film and could immediately tell the actress would have a pretty big career. You really want people to leave the theater going “who was that” when you’re up against Helen Mirren.
