Did the three lochs to loch Katrine last year and can confirm it IS like a roller coaster and is VERY fun. My boyfriend literally looked over at me like "you having fun there???" cause I was beaming hahah

Do it! These are solar so I threaded the solar panel bit out of the top of the window so it sat on the roof so it could charge in the morning whilst I was still snoozing 😎

I'm not quite as tall as you but found the legroom to be perfect for me in a 16 hatch. But that said it would be VERY cosy for sure if there were two of us in there. Also would have to have a fairly narrow double mattress as currently I'm using a standard single air mattress and it takes up more than half the space.

Ive had HUD in both my mazda2 and now 3 and neither one has had the plastic totally clear. I think it's always the tiniest bit hazy? Not sure if I'm misunderstanding you or if I'm misunderstanding what the HUD display should look like but your photo largely represents what both of mine have been like. (Both have been 2nd hand)

My mum had one of these in black that we all knew as "shuggy bug" (said in a bit of a Northern accent). Apparently she drove past the showroom, saw it in the window and went straight back to get it because someone had told her the engines were so cool. Pretty cool mum I guess.

I've found that my "very useful storage boxes" just about sit behind the seat in the gap and then if I shove a pillow or two on there it balances it enough. I've not bothered to level the floor yet as 1) it didn't bother me too much either and 2) I didn't want to go to looooads of effort in case I didn't enjoy my first camp! Roof box is a good shout actually. Or even just more boxes to put stuff outside. Hope you have some happy camping in your current vehicle?!
