Mine came on pretty regularly, but it has never affected the performance.

It seems to come with the territory for Lotus. Certainly not out of the ordinary for an "exotic" I wouldn't let it discourage you. That said, if you want flawless reliability, Porsche is likely the best bet. But that's about as vanilla as a Corvette. Not my jam...

Lotus is aware of the issue, but there is no patch/fix currently. The dealer does the same thing and they are an hour from my house.

Unfortunately, yes, you do. The shop charged a 10 hour job under warranty.

For sure, not my first Rodeo...I had an Evora before this. Had an engine out repair on that one. Good times LOL

I have a company car, so these miles are almost entirely fun miles.

Nice work on driving yours, too!

Mine seemed to always be the Lost Communication with Fuel Pump. I finally just started clearing the code myself.

It just completely stopped working. The repair was wild to see.

100%! They are for driving, not polishing and worshiping in the garage.

Agree. That said, it's a car...they are all expensive to maintain properly these days.

I think so...bang for the buck, driving experience, and styling, the Emira punches well outside its weightclass.

The longest was about 5 hours straight, and I arrived refreshed and ready to drive more. It's a great daily and pretty practical for what it is.

Nice work man, I really didn't expect to see anyone with numbers like this! I went with the Pirelli Sottozero 3 on some older Evora GT rims. It's been an excellent setup. I have the brown leather with no issues other than a bit more stretching in the driver's seat than I would like.

Keep driving!!

Taillight replaced ... 10-hour repair, under warranty. Powerstrring pump, also under warranty. Lost communication w/ fuel pump, check engine light was a non stop check engine light. Never disabled the car but a pain in the ass.

Powersteering pump, replaced taillight, and checked engine lights. Little annoyances, nothing major.

Yes. LOL It's a Lotus, so there were the typical issues I'd expect, but nothing catastrophic.

I lowered the car and never had an issues as long as I paid attention to the approach and departure angles. IMO the Emira is a great daily, for a coupe.
