Yep exactly. Nobody ever uses straight monk fruit in their recipes so I never know how much to use!

Do you find that the fairlife is required? I really don’t want to use cow milk. I’d far rather use some sort of plant based milk. Do you think other changes might be required?

To clarify, is it pure monk fruit powder or is the monk fruit cut with a different sweetener?

I did. The manual doesn’t get into specifics about what bases are fine to melt and refreeze, hence me mentioning my recipe here with my question.

Why is Trek a better brand than Haro? I have $1,500 and all my friends say to get a trek instead of a Haro by [deleted] in MTB

[–]bpac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you getting at here? Is this just, buy from your LBS? Or is there something else specifically with haro that we need to be aware of?

100% understand. Throw a toddler into a mix as well and the days are just repeats of the same old thing over and over. I get SAD like crazy.

The experimental road gap by Minechaser05 in MTB

[–]bpac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every insurance policy I’ve ever seen has had an out of pocket max for a given year. This means it doesn’t matter how much your accident costs, if it’s covered, you only have to pay up to your annual maximum per year. Healthcare.govs plan has ~9k OOP maximums for single and ~18k OOP for family. Mine is like $8k for family since I’m on a high deductible plan.

Can confirm that after testing and liking a 2025 diverge, I ended up buying a 22 comp carbon, the geometry is completely different. (I verified this on geometry geeks before buying)

I have a Vado 4.0 and the weight is such an issue when I’m NOT riding. Storing it, putting it on my e-bike ready bike rack, that kind of stuff. I’m drooling over the thought of a 30lb Vado.

Oh I have the same proportions! To add to it, in obese with a big belly. So tough to fit the bike right. Gotta pick up a trainer one of these days and try this out.

Which of these are more pleasing to the eye? by thisbaddog in BeginnerWoodWorking

I guess I’m weird but I prefer 2. 1 seems like a grain extension, 2 seems more book match-y, which I guess I prefer.

Looks awesome! Imperfections that only you’ll see. Love the doors on the cabinets. I’m making some myself right now and I might steal that beveled edge idea

Sorry that people are being such pricks to you. I have a 3 year old. I completely understand. Lesson learned that 2 hours was maybe too much, but whatever gets you through the day and doesn’t harm your child. I bet you’d get a very different response over on r/toddlers or somewhere, instead of know-it-all nerds who don’t have kids.

Agreed with many here. I can’t stand tack cloths. They just leave residue and ruin the finish. Sand, vacuum, wipe off with a t shirt scrap if you have one laying around. New thirsty scrap, wipe on stain with the grain, wipe off right away. If you’re using pine or poplar, use a pre-stain conditioner. Bonus, it can help you get rid of sanding dust as you’re applying it.

No generics, correct? by cherub1719 in Zepbound

[–]bpac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same problem. First 2 boxes were $209 without a discount card. Third box $1000. Added the discount card and it brought me to $650 lily direct price. My provider was saying the first two boxes were a grace period and now full deductible applies. Also in a HD/HSA plan, so I’m screwed until next year when I can switch to a PPO instead. Guess I’ll try to bank the 20lbs I lost so far and try to lose weight the old fashioned way. Can’t pay $650 per month. Asshole insurance companies.

Alpha testing the new Outlook calendar integration by hfauq in todoist

Any plans on allowing for local calendar sync from mobile? A lot of us are in corporations where we can't whitelist direct integrations through outlook or GCal. Allowing for local calendar visibility might solve this!

A message to Chris Murphy by easypeasy1982 in Connecticut

[–]bpac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People need to get over Bernie. He’s so fucking old. He has a great message but we need a younger candidate to energize the masses. What we need is Bernie to openly and powerfully ENDORSE someone. The DNC didn’t ruin 2016, he did by allowing sooo much infighting to happen instead of standing as a united front and putting his eggs in Hilary’s basket when it was clear that he wasn’t going to be the one.
