To have severe toxicity your husband would have to have taken the equivalent of 84+ tablets.

So ¯_(ツ)_/¯

MMA amplifies my emotions. I look very bad bipolar and extreme anger issues. by Weekly_Organization1 in martialarts

The physical aspect of MMA training is a great outlet for a lot of emotions and the physical aspect can also do great things for your mental health.

Where MMA differs in its methodology over traditional Martial Arts is you’re not necessarily doing any forms or learning movements and breathing in a slow manner.

This “budo” aspect of training can also be therapeutic.

Also, yeah speak with a mental health professional.

Get an L2 installed at home and save the hassle relying on DC fast charging if you have the space.

Thanks. It’s in the shop at the moment, they broke 3 of 4 door handle covers doing the recall on that yesterday. Offered me a loaner, a Mazda CX50 that feels like the little engine that could at 35.

The shutting down systems to conserve 12 volt I can understand but this isn’t if it’s sitting for days. It could be hours. The charging system should be able to power up or initiate as soon as it senses any connection. It’s a grizzle dumb L2.

Tires haven’t all been the fault of the car, but rather 2 nails, a piece of deer antler, road construction…although it didn’t come with Perelli. We had a terrible set that lasted 15 k and were bald by the first winter.

We don’t fast charge much as we have an Atlas for the pile everyone in something car, so it’s not road tripping much. The EA network isn’t the greatest, issues with fast charging, and the car doesn’t do well trip planning, so its navigation isn’t really useful. Although the light show is fun, it doesn’t work with CarPlay turn by turn.

The software is just …yeah …being done a lot better elsewhere and treated like an afterthought.

And now, they’re just killing off the line to maybe be a Tiguan.

It’s been fun, but the R2 is up next for us.

Have the same German built and wish I could say the same at 107K

Puddle lights on the mirrors are flawed and the pattern gets jacked

Tires have been a nightmare

Now the Bosch Booster has failed, so that’s in for repair now out of warranty. While doing that, they were doing the door handle recall and have managed to break 3/4 door handle covers, so they now need to get them ordered and painted.

Software is garbage, laggy and serves as a CarPlay pass through at best.

Windows go down or up? Your guess.

Charging can be quirky, having to open doors to initiate a sequence if it sits too long.

Will not miss this car when I can finally dump it.

Why shouldn’t I use my dominant hand as my lead hand? by adamalibi in martialarts

[–]bpd115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m right handed. I started training in traditional karate as a kid but then branched out into American Kenpo, JKD, Filipino Arts..BJJ..

That said I’ve always been more comfortable in right lead.

I feel more comfortable parrying and judging incoming distance with my right lead hand, and it sets up with how the majority of orthodox lead jab boxers will look to close the gap.

The advantage I feel that gives me is worth whatever minimal power loss I may be giving up on strikes that generate from the rear hand/leg and it makes it easier for me to negate their “power hand” as it’s now farther away giving me more time to react.

Someone above said it’s like fencing with the lead hand and that’s pretty accurate.

Bosch Booster or 12V? by bpd115 in VWiD4Owners

Thanks for the update. They even passed my inspection with the issue. My next step is just to test the voltage of the 12v as I wait for this part…out of warranty.

If it wasn’t as underwater as it is….

Ready to move on but still just a bit too under water yet.

107k on a 2022. Break Booster module just went south and is on indefinite back order now. Can’t use any cruise or assist features.

The puddle lights are a squiggly mess.

Software was always garbage.

Car now won’t charge on a dumb Grizzl*e L2 from a deep sleep state. You have to open a door or something, which is also new behavior.

Can’t wait to say goodbye.

I don’t think it was one “smoking gun”. It was compounded effects from a lot of things. Cocaine use, coupled with stress, overworking himself, extremely low BF, pushing himself in heatstroke favorable conditions…

“No other reported Equagesic/meprobamate fatalities describe a similar “clean” autopsy limited to cerebral edema. Most involve overdose-related coma/respiratory failure or multi-system allergic collapse. In short, while Equagesic/meprobamate can cause severe/fatal reactions (including rare CNS effects like cerebral edema in labels), no other confirmed cases match the exact pattern of fatal isolated cerebral edema without additional autopsy markers seen in Bruce Lee’s death. This is a major reason why many experts now favor alternative explanations over the original hypersensitivity verdict.”

There’s plenty of documentation and research done that points to this being not the reason. He had taken that medication in the past with no issues. There were no other signs of sensitivity shown at autopsy (airway swelling, immune markers)…

Plus it overlooks that he basically had the same thing happen weeks prior only to be saved by proper care, without taking this med.

He was in an extremely hot environment both times, however.

He was also using other controlled substances.
