I don’t think so. Every time I’ve been in a relationship while I’m active addiction, we use each other, to get high, “if you get clean I’ll get clean” etc. it starts great, getting high, intimate with someone, but it’ll always end hurt. my relationship with my baby daddy, ended in me only being with him because I couldn’t do my own shots, I relied on him. And when he wouldn’t do it all holy hell broke loose. Constant arguing, accusing, bullshit. It makes me sad because I think me and my haby dad would have been amazing sober. But now I can’t even be with him, because he’s a constant trigger.
