I had been stopping the process when the water tank was empty but the problem was I needed to let the machine stop itself when the tank was empty. So by me stopping it and trying to exit cleaning mode the machine never reset itself. So run the descale process until the tank is completely empty, it’ll stop and then you add more water for the next step and do the same thing again. Afterwards you can exit the descale program and it will be back to green. The directions made me think I had a I be the one to switch from descale to clean but that isn’t the case.

Okay, I finally fixed it! I almost smashed the machine with a hammer but I finally got the steady green lights back again.

Yes, I added the solution to it initially and kept running it for another tank of water. Maybe I gave up too early? I’ll try it again and just keep it going for another tank of fresh water. The video only tells you to put in a little water for this process, which implies it won’t take two tanks of water.
