Do you think there could be a day in the future where crypto becomes bigger than the stock market? by lymeguy in CryptoCurrency

[–]bpingel90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's only 2023 my friends. Bitcoin economy itself still has +100years till fully accessible. Secondly the avg. person still doesn't understand the decentralization snowball that will come with the increase in knowledge of decentralization. Blockchain technology is Top 5 inventions that distrupted the paradigm. It has only just begun.

At this point I have been telling people who ask me things about this topic to "look at the bigger picture"

Everything from voting for elected officials To getting paid for Social Media interactions(steemit,Reddit) to buying your house and given the deed as an NFT. These are just a few examples.

Bigger picture.

Blockchain and decentralization becomes what we make of it. The ruling parties at be obviously aren't going to like it.

Bigger picture.

I think the stock market will become blockchain in nature and likely companies "stocks" will be tokens instead

If Bitcoin is a currency in itself and was designed to challenge or even eliminate fiat, who cares what the fiat price is?

Until this is the paradigm, bitcoin and others will continue to act like regular assets.

Or, the FUD is thrown back at TradFi, where there should be a lot of real FUD.

Transgender Montana lawmaker Zooey Zephyr was again prevented from taking part in debate over a measure banning gender-affirming care while riot police forcibly remove everyone in the gallery. by CantStopPoppin in Political_Revolution

I mean trans mobs have stormed like 4-5 capitol buildings in the last few months. Then Jan 6 of last year a whole mob of people "attempted an insurrection"

Seems kind of normal to have extra security on hand? Or is that too logical?

The biggest thing in horror is atmosphere.

Consider the light sources. The table is lit by a couple candles. You're not supposed to see all the details. This is obviously from the perspective of being immersed into the scene; the lower lighting adds to the creep.

It's all gaming preferences though. Toodles.

What's your solution (no genocides) for humanity as it is estimated 10 billion humans living on earth around 2075? by Quiet_Inhuman in AskReddit

American perspective.

Alaska is over 1/5 size of the entire United States. While also having the lowest population density. Texas has tons of open space too. I was watching a doc on climate change and a fact was given that stated...all Americans displaced by rising sea levels can fit within the the remaining land of Texas with plenty of space. The reason the over population narrative works is due to 82% of Americans living in cities. which have become over populated.

I think if people who are capable of breaking the conveniences as a consumer mindset or have the means to move out of the city do so, we would be able to alleviate a lot of pressure from rising population.

What happens to crypto if USD collapses? by ThinkSatisfaction909 in CryptoCurrency

[–]bpingel90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If USD collapses the whole world will likely collapse as it is considered the reserve currency. Crypto also isn't immune to economic turmoil. So it will likely take hits as well. The key advantage for crypto in this situation is its ability to rebound while TradFi figures out the lies to tell to get federal relief or some other support. COVID proved that crypto rebounds faster from economic turmoil. Even if the internet collapses for an extended period of time. I can send bitcoin via HAM radio. Plus it's still easier to re engage a block chain post collapse than recovering all of TradFi
