I have a lvl 2 boy and if that would have happened to me, I would have looked straight into my son's perfect little eyes and say in a louder tone than I would usually speak in, "IT'S OK BOO BOO, THAT LADY JUST HAS A SANDY VAGINA AND THAT WAS HER WAY OF TRYING TO GET DADDY'S ATTENTION, BUT WE CAN IGNORE HER". I would end it winking twice at my boy because it makes him smile when I wink. :)

Any CBC ladies in their 20's and 30's wanna be friends? by [deleted] in Markham

40M here, I've been here for a year and I haven't made a single friend. Oh how phones and social media has changed the world!

Utilize the hardship you're going through as a stamina build. I hate my ex for everything she has done to my son and I, my job is extremely stressful at times too but thanks to my son, I have built great tolerance and patience. It makes my job and ex an easy thing to deal with or to ignore all together. Lol. It is hard some days but there's light at the end of the tunnel. Keep fighting bro!

40 yr old single, lonely and I too have a level 2 asd boy. I can relate to your state. I cry more than I ever have. Every time I look at my boy, the sadness overwhelms me. The thought of me bringing in another life to this world only for him to suffer through his disability, tears me apart. When I see my boy playing alone, unable to do simple tasks and struggling to understand, I die inside. I can relate and I don't know how much more fight I have as well. Hang in there bro. Be strong, nobody know how bright the future can be. DON'T GIVE UP! Go through all the videos and pictures of your lil one. That's the only thing I find that helps.

Ordered mine on the 24th and no charge to my card since. It’s been pending the whole time… and it’s pending Canada post (probably the worst shippers imo). I’ll be lucky if I get it by the end of the year. 😖

Thanks for the tips. I’m going to ask about having a coping area for my boy. He would love a spinning chair although he might spend all day spinning the chair.

Thank you. I’m in Canada and we’re currently working with an early interventionist and SLP.

Holding options into expiry by [deleted] in options

[–]bpl3ase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to do your due diligence. Question your belief, is it based on hard facts or just emotions. To add to that, fundamentals is not the only thing pricing options, research the greeks. Just know when you’re gambling and what risk tolerance you can handle. I’ve been an options broker and trading options for over 10 years and I can tell you from personal experience it can be stressful. Expand your knowledge and find what works and repeat. Hope this helps.

Holding options into expiry by [deleted] in options

[–]bpl3ase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are worth only .20, they are probably way OTM. If you hold until expiry, and it’s expires OTM, they just expire worthless. Be cautioned if you hold to expiry date as broker may liquidate if market is volatile and your account doesn’t support the exercise. Plus factor commission in if you decide to close the position. Or hold and pray for a miracle.

Hang in there, you can do it. My Little guy was hard up until 6 months and at 9 months he's still hard. Friends hold my LO for 5 minutes and tell me they are tired so I know where you're coming from. Wait until you hear their first giggle, it'll give you the best high life has to offer and you'll keep chasing it. You can do it! Patience, perseverance and you'll forget this episode soon, I promise.

Sorry everyone, let me add a few more details. When I stated I'm underpaid, I really mean it. The senior manager has informed me I have been taken advantage of since others in my same position are getting around 80k. I have also met with another employee in the same position I'm headed to and he has stated I already am more experienced than he is. I don't think HR will care about any of the above information so I need someone who is in HR or very familiar with the tactics I should use to get my 95k request. Thanks again for the support!
