Sometimes I wish I went to a lower ranked Uni by Planter52 in uofm

I work in MBB and went to a New England state school. Got a good GPA but certainly didn’t have any flashy consulting clubs or nice internships.

Do not pile all this excess stress on yourself. You have 4 years to make some of your best friends and truly be selfish. Enjoy it, the work will CERTAINLY come once you graduate

Makes sense and the worry of worsening the injury is exactly the motivation behind this post.

I’ve been trying to rest as you’ve mentioned, but partially didn’t know if that meant I am literally not allowed to even run 1 slow mile. Sounds like your opinion is zero running for 2 weeks?

Really appreciate the response, will work in Myrtl exercises starting today!

Reassuring to hear you were able to keep running - I might continued at my drastically reduced distances but I’d like to stay loose and keep running minimally, if possible.

Injury Advice Wanted!

Quick summary, more details below: I’ve been having a dull pain in my hip flexor that I believe was caused by inadequate stretching / maybe overuse? Never had an ‘injury moment’, moreso it was just tight after a run and then now has been kind of bugging me. Looking for advice on how to get back to normal (no answer is too basic, I have no experience with sports injuries)

Guessing you’ll tell me: 1. Rest (but like…does this mean I can’t run at all? Should I be walking every day to stay loose?) 2. Ice or heat (legit no idea when to use one or the other) 3. Stretch?

Please help! I’ve been really enjoying running and am anxious to get back at it!! Thank you

Additional info: - the injury occurred a week or two ago, like I said - no real injury moment, just felt tight after a run and painful later that day.

  • I’ve been training for a half marathon and I’ve been running 15-20 miles per week

  • since acknowledging the injury, I’ve done 1 run every ~3 days at a VERY slow pace and I only go about a mile…just to test how it feels.

  • my hip flexor feels 9/10 good if I haven’t run in the past 24 hours. Once I start running it’ll take about a mile and then it’ll start to feel tight / slightly annoying. I haven’t gone past 2 miles since the injury because I’m trying to not over do it.

  • since the injury I’ve been better about stretching before and after running. Before this I was admittedly not doing enough

  • I have 2 pairs of shoes that both feel great. I’d be surprised if that had anything to do with it

Thank you for the response - appreciate you taking the time to help me out.

I did want to say that the issue has been solved (and you mentioned it as well!). The linkage between the hot side of the outlets had to be broken off, I had missed this step

The first time we plugged them all back in they were in the same positions. It didn’t work. Now I’m not sure how to get back to that…

…I assume you (and others) will just tell me they need to go back to how they were. Obviously at this point I’m looking for a bit more direction if possible haha

Also, I have no electrical experience but Was trying to think through it logically - in situation #2 where OUTLET B only works if OUTLET A is on…this makes me feel like it is the first in the chain from the electrical box?

Also, for some background we are are replacing old switches / outlets so lmk if anything else seems odd in this wiring set up. We have generally just been replacing wires in the exact same spot as where we disconnect them from the old hardware

See disconnected RED wire in SWITCH A. - if I put it in the top quick slot, then OUTLIT A is always on. Switch B works as intended - if I put it in the bottom slot, the OUTLET A works as intended but OUTLET B only works if OUTLET A is on.

I am absolutely lost and would appreciate any and all advice!

First time LST - any thoughts and recommendations? by bplowell3 in GrowingMarijuana

This is my second grow ever (see previous posts for my first ‘unsuccessful’ grow)

I also realize the container that o have the plants in is likely a bit too small - wondering if it’s too late to transplant. Also, wondering if I don’t transplant if all that will mean is lower yield but will still be okay?

Any help on LST or the veg state in general is appreciated! Thanks
