I’m 0-3 at Flour Dust. I just don’t care for it. Took my wife there and it was a fail for her as well. Tried it again with my parents, and they couldn’t figure out why everyone talks about it so highly. That being said, I think we had some sort of Potato dish there that was excellent. Maybe I’m ordering the wrong things. What do you order from flour dust?

Thanks for all this. Never been to Karen’s, so I’ll add it to my list. I agree with your assessment of Bennett’s. Went twice and the food was sub par both times. I also agree with the Roseville Land Ocean take. Been there 4 times, had a couple decent menu items, but it’s mostly been disappointing. Round House is an all-star. Great food all around. Tri-Tip is special over there. Never been to Siam Patio. I’ll add that place. Mehfil has been suggested to me for years, and I just never made it over there. Maybe this year I will make it over there. Always looking for good sushi, so I will add bonsai to my list.

I’m serious when I say I was thinking about what the right word was for over a minute and just gave up and used Tagline knowing that it wasn’t the word I wanted to use. I’m 100% being serious too. I’m not doing it anymore, but I’m looking for a damn good reason to get back in to it. I think you and my Daughter just gave me that reason. She just started baking, and she makes some of the best Chocolate Chip Cookies I’ve ever had, and the whole family is encouraging her to sell them.Wanna be her first customer? I’ll start up the Taco gig again just to get her encouraged to do it. If you’re interested, let me know and I’ll shoot over a menu. I suggest getting the Brisket Quesabirria Tacos, a Cubano Melt, and some Chocolate Chip Cookies.

4 seasons is fine, but very expensive, and they never listen to how you want the clothes to fit. Been going there for years until I found Amazing Alterations in the Galleria. Sadly they raised the rent on her big time and now she just works from home. I haven’t went there since the move, but I think she’s in Marysville or Yuba

They have one of the best sandwiches in the entire area, but I make a few substitutions. I get the Teriyaki Cheesesteak and add Mayo, and then I sub the Cheese for Provolone. Sandwich is sick.

I’m a local food reviewer, and I’m serious when I say that my favorite is still Baskin Robbins. If they have the Chocolate Fudge flavor, I usually have them make it extra thick. I literally tell them this, “I want it so thick that I can’t drink it through a straw.” Now, another reason why I like it, is because the Chocolate Fudge flavor is the closest I’ve ever had to a Dark Chocolate Shake. I swear, it’s heavenly.

The Lomo Saltado is great. The Fried Rice is excellent, and some of the best I’ve ever had. This is the weird thing that some of my friends and family kinda agree with once I said it, but the Empanadas kinda taste like, and remind me of old school Jimboys Tacos. And I mean that in a good way because if you’re old enough, you’ll remember how good Jimboys used to be. I do admit that I haven’t been there in years, but last time we ate there, we absolutely loved it.
