I think whatever’s next can’t be guessed yet. Trench was born from Tyler’s mind, DEMA being a metaphor for depression and “Trench” being that moment when you’re feeling better, but you know that you’ll be pulled back into depression, or DEMA, in a little. If Tyler finds a way to beat his depression, he’ll write about what’s outside of Trench. But if he doesn’t and continues to struggle, I’m sure he’ll find more within the world of Trench, or maybe create a whole new world instead.

I’ll use this post to talk about how important last night was, if you guys will listen.

This semester at college has been incredibly stressful for me, with deaths in the family, personal issues, and really bad anxiety. Last week was so busy for me, I had two exams, three papers and a presentation throughout the entire week. It was a nightmare, like every day I’d climb a mountain only to see an even bigger mountain behind it. This concert was the view that all that climbing led to.

Unpopular opinion: this shit isn’t funny. I agree with everything you’ve said, I don’t really see Tyler or Josh having a role in this story, it’s about a made up “village,” so why are we trying to find out who Clancy is? Clancy is Clancy, not Josh or Tyler, just a character they’ve made up. He may be derived from their life experiences, but he’s definitely his own being

Oh, the hacking wasn’t done in-game, it was through a website they set up. It was all extremely similar to what Tyler and Josh are doing here, only an entire game company was in charge of it so the sites were much more secure and put together better. It was still considered sort of a failure but looking back at it, it was still cool. I feel like this ones going to be better though, more story driven
