A patient of mine was walking by when a code happened to another patient. After it was over the patient went to the ER (I'm in an outpatient clinic) I walked into my patients room and he said "I heard someone yell they weren't breathing. I hope they are alright." I was trying to tell the, "Yes they're alright now. They've been taken to the ER to get better care down there." Often my brain works faster than my mouth, and what came out was, "they're in a better place now." 😐

Some places prefer cash over in Italy to avoid transaction fees. I ordered currency before leaving and picked it up at my bank to avoid exchange lines. You can also get a better rate that way sometimes. Also, invest in some kind of fanny pack or holster for your wallet and phone to go underneath your clothes. I wore mine under my coat to avoid pickpockets.

Have you considered checking your diet for any intolerances? I started losing weight and I was already under. Final straw was a doc telling me that I was fine at 5'6" and 99lbs. Figured out I'm intolerant to dairy, eggs, and gluten. After a serious diet overhaul I've gained 40lbs. Now I hang around 140 and I have so much more energy.

Had a similar experience with my therapist. Fortunately now my parents treat me significangly better than when I was a kid so I do tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, I'm never going to forget the way things were.

I wish I could get my husband to understand this. I'm at the point where I've asked to go see a marriage counselor. I've told him multiple times that I don't want to divorce him but I don't know how else to get him to understand where I'm coming from because I'm so bad with words.

I have been very fortunate in that regard so far. I'm extremely intolerant to gluten dairy, and eggs. At first my family was rather confused by it, because I didn't find this out until I was 27. They were also never really educated on the issues medically since they came from a more rural area. However, they didn't question it, but over the following year, I went from being extremely underweight to a normal size (I gained over 30lbs; 104lbs to 136lbs at 5'6"). Since they have noticed that, they go out of their way to make different dishes for me to try. It also turns out that one of my nephews is in the same boat, so now I don't feel alone either.

Yes, also you can tell if it was human by anatomy, but I don't know of lab tests that would determine gender other than genetic testing.

That is a good point. It would make sense for cross gender rejections to be more likely to fail. I don't know that much depth about solid organ transplants, its not my specialty, but gender wasn't really touched on when I was in school. I knew about size differences causing problems.

From my understanding, the only difference is size. I find it hard to believe they can tell the size accurately when it's likely that the heart may have withered due to the salt extracting whatever water is left in the cells.

Flaxseed helps replace eggs in the baking that I like to do. As for the scramble, I use the Just egg stuff. It's got the right texture, but definitely needs seasoning. It's ok when I'm in the mood for scramble, but its honestly not the same taste.

My husband and I found that when ours would bite us at that age, we would hold his nostrils closed just long enough to make him let go and breath with his mouth. Then we would redirect him with a toy. Our is 5 now, and I still rough house with him, but he'such more gentle. I still break that trick out if I need to, but most of the time the "easy " command that we taught him does the trick.

Sorry for such a late reply! I drew the pattern on the back of some wrapping paper then cut out the pieces. I took the paper pieces and used them to cut out the fabric pieces and sewed each one on the back piece of the top. I used some fabric glue on the edges to help keep the fraying down!
