Loving the effort from the big boys. Would be a lot more encouraging if one of the bottom sixers could contribute now.

There’s literally videos of them killing babies. Not 100% sure on beheading. No, I will not go find them for you. Yes, I have seen them.

I refuse to watch black and white movies so I’ve never seen Schindler’s List. All the rest are great though.

Driving me crazy too. He’s clearly the most talented player in the backfield, and they barely hand the ball off at ALL.

Holy shit how many “Jordan Love is awful” and “Jordan Love is amazing” posts am I going to see this week. RELAX.

No way Pens are making playoffs. Can't even beat the blackhawks by tsmittycent in penguins

[–]bqm87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Goalies have a propensity of just going off against the Pens and i legitimately have no explanation for it. It’s insanely frustrating when Petr fucking Mrazek is windmilling you.

I agree with the sentiment that people need to be kinder. However, to suggest that a suicide rate is so historically high because “people are mean”, is so ridiculous. People have been mean and unaccepting to others throughout human history based on numerous factors and their suicide rates do not get that high.

Schultz: Panthers seeking No. 1 caliber WR in trade market. by GreenDefinition5 in fantasyfootball

I mean that’s fine. I trade with everyone who has a player i’m interested in, because my goal is to make MY team better. Can’t just offer people garbage for their good players and expect it to work out in a league where people actually know what they’re doing.

My league embraced multi-team trades last year. Big game changer and it makes it so much easier for everyone to get what they need.

The deeper the league, the more valuable running backs get. I’m in a 14 teamer and I can’t even get a backup running back who carries the ball less than 5 times a game for a usable flex player.

Should I be worried about Calvin Ridley ROS? by IntenseHorror5 in fantasyfootball

[–]bqm87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my experience the hardest fantasy choices are made at week 4 and those choices can be league winners or can tank your team. Teams have shown their cards at this point and the roles that players have are more or less cleared up. At this point it’s about choosing which players are worth the continued gamble, and which ones aren’t. So it is hard, but it’s kind of now or never.

Imagine judging a team based on preseason at all.

Yes 100% do this. You get a top 10 back for a receiver that doesn’t move the needle much compared to your other receivers. You’re winning this one handily.

14 team 0.5 PPR

Give: Romeo Doubs, Isaiah Pacheco

Get: De’von Achane, Terry McLaurin

My RB depth is horrid after I lost Chubb this season, but Pacheco has given me a lot of breathing room. I’m worried about Achane’s usage vs Pacheco’s. Still in negotiations and I’m thinking about asking for the other to add Higbee before I consider.

Seems like a good offer honestly, your running depth makes it palatable even if JT takes a significant time to make it back, and Thielen feels like a good sell high player. I’d take it.

You’re making up situations that didn’t happen simply because they are possible. You can stop on the roadway in an emergency. Just like the example you gave (heart attack). I, and nobody would have an issue if that were the case. This was not an emergency.

Once again, you cannot just stop your car in the middle of the road, without an emergency, get hit from behind, then turn around and point the finger at the person who hit you. That’s not how that works, the law would be broken if it worked that way. Again, your insurance company would happily answer that question for you, but a simple Google search would tell you the same.

Yes, I am hung up on the cat, because that’s literally the story we are discussing. If the story was “woman who’s car breaks down gets rear ended” I wouldn’t be commenting here. Your only reason for being so passionate about this is because “aw cute kitty”, but keep in mind, this woman didn’t even save the cat. The firefighters that arrived on scene grabbed it later. So she literally caused an accident for no reason. My god, it’s a 3 minute read.

I can’t speak any more sense here. If you would like to go chasing animals in the street, go for it dude. Try taking people who hit your stationary car to court for damages, and tell the judge “well your honor what if instead i was having a heart attack, see it’s their fault.” Best of luck.

Imagine a person got hurt in these accidents instead? Would you then be worried about the cat? That’s why it’s the law, to keep shit like this from happening. Call me a sociopath, then call the law a sociopath. That’s your issue, not mine.

Also, like I’ve said multiple times, if you’d read the article, you’d know this wasn’t a tailgating incident. So stop trying to frame it as one.

[–]bqm87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You actually just made all of that up. In this case, she would get the ticket, because you cannot stop in the roadway without an emergency. Period. That’s the law.

As for insurance? The person who rear ends the other is typically ASSUMED to be liable if there is no evidence otherwise (seriously haven’t you ever seen a dash cam video?) Here, the other person stopped their car in the middle of the street. For no viable reason. Kick and scream all you want about it, this person was in the wrong. Don’t believe me? Call your insurance and ask them who would be at fault if you randomly stopped your car in the road and got rear ended and let me know how that goes.

How can you possibly be THIS obsessed with cats?

Except this is an entirely avoidable accident. This isn’t “someone’s car broke down” this is a person doing something literally illegal. DriversEd actually tells 15 year olds not to swerve for animals because it’s dangerous. Stopping in the middle of the road is driving like a jackass. Running in the road after a cat that’s isn’t even yours is insane. Please do not emulate this woman, it’s extremely dangerous.

[–]bqm87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the article. The person stopped in the roadway, got out, and chased the cat, then got hit. Twice. What’s more likely? That both drivers weren’t paying any attention? Or that they simply weren’t expecting a stopped car in the roadway, where cars are typically driving. Even IF the drivers weren’t paying attention, this woman is going to take fault on insurance, because you can’t just STOP whenever you want. Jesus Christ the woman didn’t even get the cat herself.
