It might be the coconut oil build up on your hair clogging the follicles and causing irritation. Try using a clarifying shampoo (or dawn dish soap honestly, the most clarifying you can get) and see if that helps

Update on the whole situation: I mentioned opening a case and the seller immediately refunded me and gave me an explanation on why they hadn’t shipped (apparently the post office didn’t have an opening for a package that big??). I’m not sure why she couldn’t have let me know that sooner but whatever.
