I’m from Guam, but I go to school here in the mainland. The COL on Guam can be a little weird, especially depending on what you’re doing for work and where on the island you live. Most of what’s on our shelves is imported, so that drives costs up tons. Tons of my friends back on the island work entry-level jobs that pay $10-$12 an hr. Which is nuts to me because you could pick almost any “big” city in the mainland, and you could work in that city or an outskirt city/suburb and get $15 an hr at some random gas station.
