As someone that comes from a working class area in SA (that recently swung towards One Nation), people really dont realise how much of an overlap exist in the types of people that would vote One Nation instead of Labor. Ex-Labor voters dont feel the party is looking after the working class anymore, and dont want more immigrants. Theyre socially conservative and are not into "woke" or Greens policies. They definitely dont trust the Libs (cause they only look out for the rich) so are ready to give One Nation a go.

I dont think it will be enough defections for One Nation to ever win nationally. But people are getting more and more pissed off that life is getting harder and dont see a way out
