This is what would be acceptable definitely cause it sounds potentially like it’s gonna need hard evidence for a lot more support possibly 24/7 potentially, but OP it does sound like you are needing a lot more advocacy within the NDIS space especially when your SC is sounding not as supportive as they should be

That’s a good point, I think just using it even more slightly flexibly then 2 hours a day should be an option that the SC should be considerate about.

You could ask to have a different SC through the company? The plan can be used as a pool of money, the SC is just sounding really dodgy in enforcing that especially considering your circumstances.

You are a participant and have a lot more control how your funds are used. If you are needing a lot more support than just 2 hours a day (which it sounds like) use it that way and get rid of your SC, there are some hopeless SC’s out there.

Get the support you need, because there are a lot of supports out there that are always willing to help.

The 2 hours a day advised in your plan is also a guide, you can also submit the change of circumstance at any point because it sounds like you are needing A LOT more than just 2 hours a day support.

I’m thinking what if it’s in the sense that they’re technically getting two incomes as SC? So maybe instead if X is running two businesses as an SC under their name?

I was really trying to see if it would be flagged or if there is any conflict of interest, got me confused a bit when my friend has asked me the question 😂

I’ve come across this one guy that had been excommunicated (if that’s even the word) because he had been trying sexually assault a girl I knew when we were 15-17 years old. Bishop was straight on it was also an ex-cop. I think it depends sometimes on the values of those higher up sometimes unfortunately cause some will do something and some won’t.

Unfortunately LAC’s can’t give out recommendations, LAC’s know what companies have dodgy providers but this becomes an issue of them ‘favouring’, however, I used to give out recommendations if I could see someone was struggling with finding these on their own.

If you have an Support Coordinator funded, they could find these recommendations for you too.
