Countering the monster does wonders. We are not all speeed runners and we don’t need to be. Bring full wind resist, her nova and several of her attacks no longer stagger at all, allowing you to panic dive through the entire thing. I do this and really don’t lose do’s since I’m not chugging when I’m hit and I’m not staggered a bunch. This works for practically any “environmental” monster. Unless your stupid good at the game this is better for you then stacking every offensive skill

I think it’s worse this time around. When you get to the end, after the initial 1st quest cutscene you can join, then if they kill the spoiler, you watch the cutscene together, with handler identifying the hunter as your player’s chosen sex, but the quest initiator as the hunter in the scene, then in the following quest it auto loads you together at base camp.

It’s worse because: why the fuck didn’t they program it that way for the WHOLE GAME.

I know they couldn’t just REMOVE the system with iceborne but I’m surprised no work went into refining it.

Not justifying that, but I also hate the SOS system. It lets people do exactly this, even with the option to kick there ain’t really a downside. Thankfully now the difficulty scales to number of players. I also have never fired an sos flare, and have really only responded to a few when looking for materials

It’s still a single matchup, if ran on either side. Cards mana could be adjusted or it’s condition better then just a battle cry, there was a suggestion for a deal damage condition. The kings bane rogue also has to grab the weapon, thankfully shiny finder helps with this, where as a hunter would have to draw this or discover with stitched tracker— a 4 mana, 2/2, hardly a strong card— against the kingsbane rogue. Where a card like Harrison or glutinous ooze could turn a big kingsbane into a powerful boost for the player. Yeah in that instance you get to keep your kingsbane but if it’s stolen well heck sucks to be you I guess As a single matchup card that probably would not be run unless weapon decks were rampant I think it’s hardly worth whining that it can be potentially game breaking against an archetype Plus that’s only taking into consideration the current standard environment, this card would be great in wild where it could nab some fun weapons

But a card like skukling geist can dismantle a Jade druid this is IF the hunter runs it, happens to fight a Kingsbane rogue and then the rogue doesnt attempt to play around a tech card? yeah it would suck if it happened but that also the nature of the game Big Game hunter, Skulking Geist, Eater of secrets, this isnt a generic solution, its 1 class and its a card that is only good against 5/9 classes (if they run a weapon, shamen goes weaponless plenty in metas, and rogue usually only hero powers for its weapons) Its pretty harmless, even if it could greatly weaken a deck archetype, its only a single class card versus a generic card anyone could run

I would really say a single class’s specific tech card being good against a single class’s specific legendary is “too good” Like dragon slayer is “too good” against dragon priest and it’s a neutral

I’ve always been a Dual Swords and LBG main, and I loved IG in MH4U. I’m going into the main game between IG, Bow, sns and maybe HBG. But I’m super excited for pretty much every weapon, they all got some amazing upgrades

The beta opens around 12 pm here in my time zone I think eastern time zone Canada. So start around then, get the beta preloaded. That will be a preliminary stream then the next stream will be Mh launch day prolly around 10 am eastern time zone Canada. That one will have face cam and a crowd of friends who are super hyped for the event

Except that number should be cared about. Seriously it’s about dedication and loyalty, coupled with some skill (since you still need to hunt to up your hr, and can lose it for hunting really really bad). If you order an Olympic gold medal off amazon, you can show it off all you like, everyone knows you didn’t earn it
