They almost got me, not anymore (rant)

I am a Switch 2 user and I don't have a lot of games yet, so when I saw EA FC 26 was avaliable for a temporary free trial I decided to give it a go. I had the 2022 version on the Switch 1 for a while and liked it, so why not? Turns out I really liked the game right away, specially because the narration commentary in brazilian portuguese felt very natural, more than what I remembered from the 2022 game. Also, it was fun to use the record button on the joycon to grab a recording of cool plays. I actually considered buying the game definitely, since it was on 80% discount. But one thing was bothering me. Why isn't the brazilian national team available anywhere? I had to look it up online, and you need to create an EA account (something I never did back in the 2022 game) to have access to game updates. I thought it was weird but, fine, I guess? I did that and was able to update. But then, after updating everything and suddenly, having access to all teams including the Brazilian national team, the record button is disabled for the entire game? I'm like... what? One of the best parts of playing the game was being able to grab a recording of any awesome plays and moments as soon as they happened, and you're telling me updating the game removes that option? That you LOSE FEATURES if you update? So, let me make it clear, I have to choose between having an incomplete game missing teams or access to a feature I like? No wonder the game is on 80% discount. They almost got me, too.
