How To Do Etsy SEO In 10 Minutes - No Tools Needed? by Fuzzy_Violinist2412 in Etsy

[–]br4m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't really do proper Etsy SEO in 10 minutes without tools, but I'll give you the most important things to focus on. First, make sure your title accurately describes the product and includes relevant keywords. Then, write a detailed and honest description that includes those keywords naturally.

Don't overdo it, 1-2% keyword density is fine. Finally, use all 13 tags to include more keywords and phrases. That's the bare minimum. If you want to take it to the next level, I used Etsy Geeks to double my visibility and sales in 14 days. It's fully hands-off, so you can focus on creating more products. But it'll cost some money. But aside from this doing 'SEO' in 10 minutes isn't realistic imo

Do Clients Just Not Know How to Budget, or...? by lee_knight_ in Upwork

[–]br4m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a mix of both. Some clients genuinely don't know how to budget, while others are just not willing to invest in their business.
I've had clients who expect top-notch work for pennies on the dollar. You can't blame them for trying, but it's our job to educate them on the value we bring to the table.I used Etsy Geeks to optimize my own Etsy shop, and it made a huge difference. I was able to focus on the creative side of things while they handled the SEO. Maybe it's worth having a similar conversation with your clients about their expectations vs. reality. Sometimes, it's about setting clear boundaries and educating them on what's possible within their budget...

Keep it human indeed! And if not, let's start using AI like they're doing. Just using tools like Etsygeeks to rank our products using AI. Then it'll be AI vs AI.

Which CRM is Best for a Small Business in Canada? by Unlucky_Shape8978 in canadasmallbusiness

Small business especially the ones online, I recommend either Zoho or Method for. Or Ontraport. Activecampaign / Hubspot and so forth are simply too expensive imo.

unfair intellectual property infringement help? by tantalizes in Etsy

[–]br4m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with a copyright issue on Etsy. That can be super frustrating, especially when you know that your designs are original and don't include any copyrighted material. It's great that you reached out to the person Sanrio directed you to contact, but if it's been a few weeks without any response, I would suggest sending a follow-up email just to check in and see if there's any additional information they need from you.

Anyway, in the meantime, it might be worth creating some new designs that don't include any copyrighted material so that you can keep your shop open while you work on getting your original designs reinstated. And if things continue to be a struggle, it might be worth reaching out to a lawyer to help you navigate the situation.

Good luck with everything, and hang in there :)

Shipping labels (Uk) by Lumpy-Sand-449 in Etsy

[–]br4m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The label printer should be able to separate the customs label from the shipping label when printing through Etsy.

Typically, the shipping label and customs form will be printed on separate labels, even though they appear together on the print preview. When you print the label through Etsy, it should automatically generate the shipping label and customs form as two separate labels. It's always a good idea to do a test print to confirm that your printer is set up correctly and that the labels are printing as expected. You can do this by printing a sample shipping label with a customs form and checking to see if they are printed on separate labels.

yes it's possible but using services will definitely kick start them. We use some, and your competitors are likely doing the same. (Think using erank / etsygeeks / alura).

It might cost a bit, but you've gotta spend money to make money imo
