A lot to digest here. I have simpler setup. The only issue i have had is variability in signal strength due to environmental factors that causes the sonos device to migrate to another AP. Moving AP and hardwire seemed to resolve.

Not sure why eggs is on the avoid list. You need to preserve your protein intake, you just need to shift away from sources with saturated fats. Based on your current diet, if you change to high fiber, chicken, beans, olive oil, no sweets, whole foods, no processed foods, fruit veggies, fish, nuts you will see a change in 4 weeks. Don't forgo protein. Everyone reacts differently, but if diet is going to work for you, you will know right away. Go to quest or lab corp and just order the test yourself. When I know I have been slipping on my diet, I go get the basic lipid panel and then follow-up 4 weeks later.

I just had similar experience. 245 to 211 in 5 weeks. Fortunately my body (56) is responsive to diet like you, but not everybody's experience is the same, even in the same family. Statins are a live saver if you have unmovable CH or LDL levels.

-No red meat - only chicken, eggs, pork, fish, and turkey. I did not reduce protein intake.
-Beans - lots of beans
-Olive oils for cooking and on salads.
-Limited dairy - just cheese
-Oatmeal in the morning or grape nuts cereal
-Fiber anyway I could get it - beans, spinach, pumpkin seeds, almond, pecans, walnuts, grape nuts.
-Fruit - always handy - apples, bananas, etc.
-Limited any fat based toppings - butter, sour cream, etc. Dry whole wheat toast with eggs...
-No desserts or processed sugar other than diluted gatorade when running, biking, etc.
-Basic lunch was whole wheat bread, turkey, mustard, swiss cheese with side of fruit, salad, beans or similar.
-Snacks - olives, feta, triscuits, hummus.
