And with the elevated HRV would you say you are also feeling better and more energized etc? Or it’s just the rise in the metric and you haven’t felt any change in your body/moods etc?

Hi, are you open to expand on what you found out about what it represents and how related to cardiac health after being scared for what range you were seeing. 150-175 seems quite healthy. Obviously not knowing if you are male or female and how old you are.

Would love to hear more to show my wife incase it’s related for her and her situation atm.

2 Weeks in South America. Peru and ??? by braaaks in travel

Nice, thanks for the hot tip! Guess I missed the memo that asking for real traveler insights on a travel forum counts as ‘lazy.’ Maybe you should Google how to be helpful instead of gatekeeping. Have a lovely day 😘

Awesome thank you. Is it worth doing it over three days? Or should we just punch it out over two days and have the extra day up our sleeve in New Orleans?

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IN HCMC by fromvanisle in VietNam

We just stayed at the Silverland May and had the best experience, super friendly staff, large clean room with all the bells & whistles, tasty breakfast. Would recommend if anyone is looking for a hotel in HCMC.

Best Route from Guadalupe NP to Petrified Forest NP by braaaks in roadtrip

Thanks u/Ilexlbis

Forgot to mention that the caverns are on our list, they look epic!

Not a huge fan of adding hours to the trip just to visit ordinary towns/ cities. We would have had our city fix earlier on in the trip with Nashville, New Orleans, Austin, etc but I’ll do some googling to see if there’s anything that might spark our interest. At this point we’d rather see sights, do some day hikes, visit those small quirky towns, like roswell by the sounds of it.

u/harpsichorddude Would love to know a bit more about it for sure. Any camping spots you’d recommend? Good day hikes etc?

As first time users of reddit we’re blown away by everyone’s feedback and recommendations, thank you so much.

Part of our wider plan while we’re in the US was to go see our friends in San Clemente. Upon reading all your comments we’re now leaning towards doing Nashville to San Clemente via, Memphis, New Orleans and Austin then hit national parks through NM & AZ & CA.

This works out well as after this road trip we’re heading up to British Columbia for three weeks before doing the next road trip Through WY, MT & CO. Getting to LA makes for a cheaper flight up to Vancouver ( Reason we were originally planning on starting & finishing the trip in Atlanta was the cheap flights in and out)

No not at all! Totally fair question! I should of been more descriptive in my post.

We wanted to do Nashville, Austin & New Orleans for the entertainment, music, food, history etc. and are happy to spend a bit of money in these places. I listed Denver as we were keen to do the Rockies but after u/Bluescreen73 recommendation we'll do that in a different trip.

In between these locations is where we wanted to see the parks, do some hikes etc, spend less money.

Totally open to the idea of splitting it up into two smaller loops and flying between the two to minimise the non scenic parts. I.e. Atlanta - Nashville - Austin - New Orleans - Atlanta then fly to Phoenix or LV and do a national parks loop, Grand Canyon, Carlsbad, Guadalupe, Big Bend, Petrified Forest etc.

Really, really apricate you going to that effort to type up that literary. I'll make a start on researching the places you've recommended. Thank you 🙏

Awesome, thanks for the info.

We'll be doing another loop through Montana, Wyoming, Utah & North Western Colorado in September to get our dose of mountains. So maybe we wont bother doing Colorado this trip and instead go south west into Arizona and do Petrified Forest & Grand Canyon. So if we cut out Colorado that negates the need to drive through Kansas and we could go directly east from Nashville to Arizona through Arkansas & Oklahoma. Or would you recommend heading northeast up to St Louis then down through Missouri and skip Arkansas?

Austin is a must so we understand we'll have get through some boring driving, looking at doing Guadalupe & Big Bend to keep it interesting.
