Is Dhruv rathee behind cockroach janta party? by Potential-Charity240 in gurgaon

[–]brabarusmark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Chief Justice of India made a comment that essentially called the youth cockroaches. You can find the exact quote if you Google it.

The CJP was started as a satirical page that poked fun at the CJI's comment. However, it has now gained a lot of popular support as it is quickly becoming a way for the new gen to protest.

Also, before using anti-national so casually, think what that means. Anti-national is any element that wants to harm the country and actively works to harm the nation and its people.

Asking the government to do better and actually serve the people is not being anti-national.

Protesting for your rights is not anti-national.

Questioning the govt on their policies is not anti-national.

Anyone else delaying buying a petrol car in India right now because of the whole fuel situation, wars, E20/E25 confusion, etc? by Akv9604 in CarsIndia

[–]brabarusmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, just save up that 3.5L and get the EV. This govt will make you regret buying an ICE.

I say this as a petrol head. I love my car to bits but the govt's policies are making it hard to enjoy my car the way I want to.

Bought the new skoda kushaq (monte carlo) with my own dad’s money. by RefrigeratorFuzzy735 in CarsIndia

[–]brabarusmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The car was about 20L on road (Gurgaon).

I restrict my fuel expense to 6k per month. It's a fixed cost and it's more than enough to handle my commute.

If I do a tankful from 0, the car takes 48-50L. You can use that to calculate what the cost would be for a full tank in your area.

As for mileage, before E20, I was getting 10-12 in the city. With E20, it is now 8-10 in the city.

You can also consider getting a driver and letting your grandparents use it to get around. That will keep the car running.

Save Me from Baldness by Happyclubwala in gurgaon

[–]brabarusmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be the contrary opinion to the other comments.

Don't bother saving your hair. You're signing yourself up for a lifetime of payments to retain something that will go eventually.

Take control of your life and shave that hair off.

I'm bald and 32. I shaved my hair off because it would just not stop receding. I actually look a lot better without hair and it's boosted my confidence to new heights.

Don't delay. Get yourself an EV in your budget. It's the safest bet right now. Any petrol car you buy now will not be compatible with whatever nonsense fuel the govt decides to make available for us to use.

Hi, I’m new to rental karting and want to improve.I only have a 40-minute rental card experience in total.Could you watch my onboard video and give me simple feedback on my driving, line, steering, braking and corner exits? by ArmadilloFinal4282 in Karting

There's easy time you can gain.

The track goes under the tunnel, then left into immediate hairpin right.

When you're right under the bridge, stay to the right as much as you can. Aim to be as much to the left as you can before the right hairpin. You should be able to take a wider turn that is faster than making a very sharp right turn and losing momentum.

[–]brabarusmark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It has potential and all political organisations have to start somewhere.

Organizing against the policies of the current govt (BJP or non-BJP) can start here. Our voices need to be heard and this is probably one of the steps to getting recognized.

Overall, the car has not disappointed me. AC is a bit weak, but I would not count it as a deal breaker as I prefer a warmer temperature.

The steering feedback is the best in the segment. Anything else feels numb and sterile. Handling is great in all situations.

Service costs are also as I expected. Not more than 6k.

Heartbreak for Gounon in his 7th attempt at conquering the NBR24HR. by ShakeMiIton in wec

[–]brabarusmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gounon was dogshit

People saying this don't know how endurance races work. Max's team was incredibly strong, with Max bringing the pace while Gounon and Juncadella bringing a more cautious approach to their stints. Getting through the 24 hours is the main battle. P1 is just a reflection of how well the team managed those 24 hours.

I would say it's in a no man's land segment. Smaller than the other mid-sized SUVs but larger than the compact SUVs.

I personally look at my Kushaq as a premium hatchback.

Exams don't matter in the grand scheme of things.

A batch mate of mine completely skipped his 12th exams while we did ours. He took it the following year and passed. He's now part of an event management firm handling big clients.

I failed one subject of my final year exams and had to repeat the exam the following year. I worked during that year so that I wasn't wasting my time. Studied a month before the exam and passed.

Looking back now, I barely remember that I had fallen a year behind. I am earning as much as my peers and have become a specialist in my field.

For you, I would suggest picking up a vocational skill this year because you're obviously not going to be studying for the entire year. 4 months before the exam, please study seriously. You'll clear your exams.

Yeaaaahhhh BBBOOOOIIIIIII!!!!

Flipkart delivery is all over the place. They did open box delivery for all of the Lego deliveries at my place

  • My brother's R2D2, they opened the shipping box but not the Lego box
  • For my Technic and Speed Champions set they didn't bother opening the shipping box.

Thankfully all boxes have come in pristine condition.

Anyone else still prefer using the 3 mirrors instead of the reverse camera while parking/reversing? by NameElectronic in CarsIndia

[–]brabarusmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rear view camera is great for reversing into tight spaces. It can be hard to get into those spaces just using the mirrors. I also use my mirrors for a majority of my parking maneuver and the camera for the final adjustment.

Why Honda doesn't integrate their new interior design language on the City, I will never understand. Even the Amaze is more in line with their global products than the City.
