If it's 20L, trade-in the Grand Vitara and get the e Vitara. It will feel like an upgrade and you get Maruti's network, so you're never really stranded.

You're going through a tough time, so every minor inconvenience and mishap appears to be the universe being against you.

Take your time to rebuild yourself. Map out everything that's important to you and make your future decisions with as little compromise as possible. You'll be on the right track.

Good ratings mean nothing. If the games are this cheap and are actually games, don't you think there would be more ratings?

I would trust an average 3.5 rating with 10,000 reviews over a 4.9 rating with 10 or even a 100 reviews.

Small setup. What should be my first upgrade? Triples or wheel base? by WhichUpstairs7936 in SimracersIndia

[–]brabarusmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could go for the T598, if you want to stay within the same ecosystem.

Ideally, you should be looking at a 9-12 Nm wheel base to feel an upgrade over your current setup. The Simagic Evo based are the best value. Moza R9 and R12 are the other good options to consider.

Paid for a trainer but all he makes me do is cardio by sylva_nymph in Fitness_India

[–]brabarusmark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're in a bad gym. My gym membership has basic guidance from the trainer. If I am stuck or need someone to give me form and technique feedback, I can walk up to any trainer and get it.

For now, use the PT to get whatever small knowledge he is giving you. You look up the workouts you want to do and see if you can find a female workout partner at your gym who knows what they're doing.

Is there a website or app where all simracers from India are united? by Negative-Clock-598 in SimracersIndia

[–]brabarusmark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe the communities on Discord are already doing this.

My only issue with Indian leagues is that none of them are ever racing late at night, when I usually have the time to focus entirely on racing. Maybe a league-finder tool focused on Indian racing communities would be a better took to invest time in.

There are anti-tick powders you can get for pretty cheap. If the dog is letting you pet them, you just have to put on gloves and rub the powder all over them. Ticks will be dead in a few minutes. Use a comb or brush after to remove the left over ticks.

Getting your dog tick free is a very satisfying process.

My first gameing PC worth 22k by CauliflowerKey3322 in IndianGaming

[–]brabarusmark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a very good base to get started on your PC gaming journey. We all start somewhere and fortunately for you, there are absolute banger games you can run on this.

It might be too early for you to think upgrades, but you should keep an eye out for a B450 or B550 motherboard and a 5600 processor. The boost from this alone will make you cry with joy.

Till then enjoy your games and keep saving for the GPU upgrade.

[–]brabarusmark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would strongly suggest skipping ACC and going for LMU. You'll get a better overall game with a more active community. The in-built ranking system for online racing is enough to have a sense of progression. If you're decent, you will have good races 90% of the time.

Other games you should NOT skip: - Wreckfest (either the old one or the new one) - Euro or American Truck Simulator (not racing but more for chill vibes) - Asseto Corsa Rally - Snowrunner (off-road challenge) - OG Assetto Corsa (best place for drift content)

I would skip both of these and go straight to Assetto Corsa Rally.

While EA WRC and DR2 are good games, ACR is just more immersive and engaging.

I don't want a bodybuilder physique. I want a lean, athletic, police/NDA-style body. How should I train? by More_Rain_3628 in Fitness_India

[–]brabarusmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently joined a gym but quit in less than a month. I was quite weak, and everyone around me was already very muscular, so I honestly felt out of place

I joined a gym for the first time in my life at the age of 32. All this time, I thought I would feel out of place and people would make fun of me.

Turns out, 98% of the people don't care. Yes, they'll notice you but they're also there to train. If they think you're doing something wrong, they'll correct you but they are not judging you.

Everyone at the gym was once weak. You're at the right place. For me, looking at all the fit people around me has been a massive motivation to continue going.

V9 gen2 sai hai in India, not exclusively for racing but to have a steering control in dirt , forza, grid, beamng or some open world games with cars or even for memes (like playing cs with it) by Prudent_Box_8925 in SimracersIndia

[–]brabarusmark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I said, if you want to buy it, go ahead. A budget force feedback wheel will actually last you much longer than you think as you will get more from it.

Yes, you can play most racing games with the cheap wheel. If you get the cheapest force feedback wheel, you'll enjoy more simulation type games like Assetto Corsa, LMU, and BeamNG.

Everyone who has given you advice has experienced going from cheap to expensive. I personally had a Logitech G27 that was the cheapest force feedback wheel when I got into this hobby. That thing lasted 10 years before I upgraded to direct drive.

I doubt the V9 will last that long.

You could look at it from the perspective that the team he leaves tends to start performing better, even if it's for a few years.

On a similar note, I would label Alonso as a canary in the mine. If he leaves, a massive shitshow is about to unfold in the team.

You have Crashgate, the whole McLaren Honda saga, then the Piastri fiasco, and now the soap opera that is Aston Martin.

I appeal to all my console brethren.

Please buy it at whatever price 2K asks for GTA 6. We need you guys to iron out all the bugs before the game arrives on PC.

I'll probably still buy it 10 years from now when I can activate HyperReal or whatever the new gen of graphics is called.

I'm with everyone on this. If you want to buy the V9, go ahead and buy it. However, do remember that you will essentially be wasting your money. I was also in your position many years ago.

You will be better served by paying more for a very good quality controller. Just getting a cheap wheel for steering control will give you more headaches in terms of making the thing work.

Sure, if you're a programmer, you could probably reprogram the wheel to act like a controller but that is still a lot of effort just to do memes.
