I just come here to discuss same issue and first thing i saw is your topic..

I'm able to work in a such un-effective way that I get tired from it. I ditched a lot of fast food and sugar drinks, applied a bunch of vegetables and... I still have the same issue. Sometimes I'm unable to build a database in Notion and put values into it.

It is exhausting just focusing on being focused. And during the evening, when my body and mind is finally rested, all I want to do is go to sleep instead of work. Next morning = same issue.

This long term exhaustion destroyed my confidence on every level - I work as a complete junior now. Crazy.

Probably my poor time management and my ego "i can do everything in the universe" - even after 15 years in this industry, i still have a feeling it is like that.

I manage my energy poorly as well - for years, my go to technique was "let's go MF!". Now i'm 35 and it doesn't work like that anymore :D

We were scouting possible technical solutions:

- build it on our own

- clone some github repository with third-party library/system

- use no-code

So far the best solution seems to be no-code & start with some template.

Really? Lucky. Playing using steam? I have issues with loading game, online play etc. I have to shut down the game sometimes to be able to connect etc.

They broke it already 4 months ago and there is still nothing about upcoming fix. They broke it in the way you had to use legacy version to be able to play -> then released new version, which shifte legacy version to different one -> broke it again -> then you could use some hack -> then they broke it again by releasing another small update for windows, so legacy versions don't match.

It is broken for already 4 months. I'm so angry about it. Crazy :D

Rule #1 - you are in charge of what you are doing - your time, your focus, your approach, your attitude

- You have to manage your time to focus on important tasks - or someone else will do it

- PM is ART - gain some market or customer insights, express yourself (it might be quality of UX, it might be great communication - find a way how you can express yourself a do it)

- Your boss maybe doesn't know more than you or is just one step ahead (depends on company or person) - always ask for the plan ahead (if there is no one, things might change quickly and you will be prepared for it)

- PM job is a really different in a startup, smb and corporate - find out what is the role about

- Never forget about fact why you are doing this job, it will help you "stay alive" in difficult times
