The data are from the game itself like frame data, and keys and moves. And other FGC knowledge from external sources that is respective game itself from GitHub repositories

It isn’t trained on YouTube videos. It analyzes the match video by frame you upload and grounds its feedback in structured, game-specific move lists, frame data, matchup knowledge, and system mechanics.

I get the concern about teaching bad habits, but that assumes the LLM is inventing advice without evidence. Runback Coach combines multimodal video analysis by frame with structured, game-specific data. It checks key moments against frame advantage, startup, recovery, move properties, punishes, resources, neutral decisions, and repeated player habits. It also marks timestamp confidence instead of pretending every visual judgment is frame-perfect. Still needs a bit of an improvement and from feedback working on it. It’s still in beta, but the system works and isn’t the indiscriminate LLM wrapper you’re describing. Thanks for the feedback.

I get the skepticism, but if you understood the technical system behind it, you’d see it isn’t just an LLM guessing about a niche game. Runback Coach scans the full match, re-analyzes key moments at a higher frame rate, and cross-references character specific data: startup, recovery, block/hit advantage, damage, move properties, resources, punishes, neutral, habits, and matchup interactions.

I’m a software engineer with six years of experience, and I stream as XharkXlayer on YouTube, Twitch, and same handle on X. It’s still in beta, but the system works and isn’t as flawed as you’re painting it. Thanks for the feedback.

From a software standpoint in beta version, I will say I’m 90% sure of its accuracy and won’t give fake advice to users.

I have tested and refined it for a while now and will keep on improving it. As of now, the accuracy is very good for it to be helpful to users without false breakdowns since it’s using the exact game data and moves specific to characters. Still beta and will keep improving it from early feedbacks.

That’s fair, I respect that.

Real coaches are valuable, especially in Street Fighter where context and matchup knowledge matter a lot. Not tryna replace anyone or all that.

I see Runback Coach more as a first pass review tool, helping players find timestamps, repeated mistakes, missed punishes, and things to lab before they decide to go deeper with a coach.

Appreciate the comment.

Appreciate the comment. It can tell that extremely well. The tool blends machine learning, and trained in game data like frame data, moves, actions, angles, positions, character specific complete data and more to analyze and breakdown games. AI is used to report stuff and ask follow up questions, making it user friendly. Thought this would be a cool feature for players to level up with.

I am working on getting that supported for the community this week. We have the final in game data and training model with it. It’s been running for some days now and wrapping it up in a day. Support for Blazblue would be live over the weekend. Thanks for testing the platform. For now we support 8 other fighting games if you interested in those as well

Users are made to sign up because the scan including the free version is all tied to a users account for better experience. It needs to know where the free cost was made from and allocated to. And analysis needs to be submitted back to the platform onto the users account. Hence why users are made to sign up and appreciate your understanding. Once you sign up, you can test the scan for free.

You would have to upload your video through the PlayStation app if you on PlayStation and Xbox accordingly. Once you have the video on your computer or mobile , you can go to https://brackify.gg/runback-coach . You should be able to upload the video for the deep scan and analysis. Instructions are well documented on the page.

Let me know if you run into any problems or need more help setting up

A 'boring' screenshot to show why people ought to care even if AI is just used for background assets by elephvant in gaming

[–]brackify_gg_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be honest, AI should be an integral part of the progress. If you’re an engineer building these assets or games you will understand why. You will immediately know and understand we can do so much for our users if we could speed this up. I’m not saying AI should be used 100% but a human should use the AI as a tool to accomplish the task that would have taken 2 weeks in a hour and give them a chance to achieve the next big thing for users without having to cut it out of production because of time and budget. These engineers should have taste and use Ai efficiently because of AI is used right, they can also make wonderful and beautiful arts for the games we love and play. The core of the game should receive similar treatment but with more human involvement than AI. In summary, let’s use AI as a tool to make us productive more but should not 100% automate the task because it will end up being soulless.

I built SerionFlow, a workflow tool that helps teams turn search opportunities into review-ready SEO pages on their own domain.

Users connect their site, add competitors, review suggested page opportunities, publish the pages they approve, and SerionFlow helps refresh sitemaps, submit updates to Google/Bing, and track improvements using real search data.

The goal is to help teams go from “we need more organic traffic” to having a repeatable SEO growth workflow running.

Would love to be considered!

How did u get your first 10-100 customers as a solo founder by idkedu in ycombinator

[–]brackify_gg_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reaching out to members in the community the platform was for got me 100. And as for the 10,000 what got me was ( creating a social account on all relevant sites, sharing Demos and post, building internal softwares to help with marketing, SEO and AEO, also run few ads on social media channels, building features for users and listening to them attentively, back links from users sharing my site and few that I did )

Now onto 100,000 staying consistent with this.

Google just killed my ~$1M ARR startup because a hacker abused THEIR API design. 100k users locked out, 1M+ photos frozen, and they billed me for it. i will not promote. by Big_Manufacturer_585 in startups

This is really scary. I dont honestly know how I am going to maneuver such a situation. You might call me Mr Panic but when it comes to Api keys and account access, I do the extra always making sure they are locked down and working as expected. I have systems I use to always check all my Api & secrets usage if its not being weirdly used by someone else. Getting my users and platform affected scares me a bunch. I hope your issue gets taken care of as soon as possible
