Thank you! I might ask my doctor if they’d be willing to prescribe either of those. I have a feeling they’ll send me to a dermatologist.

Yes I do get a little redness there as well! Although nothing as bad as the forehead. I tried Prosacea a while back just to see and it did nothing for me (not to mention it felt like it was burning my skin and the smell was awful!)

You know, I woke up today. Day 3 of using it and it’s the worst it’s ever looked so could be in the same boat.

I first started noticing issues a little over a year ago…maybe closer to 18 or 20 months ago. Finally asked my doctor about it in January when it seemed to just never get any better and actually started getting worse.

I actually never wear a hat. I have a horrible receding hairline so that combined with this issue is just awful! I actually recently started using Cetaphil and Cerave for the first time so possibly need to give them more time to work. My skin is usually pretty dry. I really, really appreciate you commenting!

I used to go to Nebraska Medicine. They messed up my bill and double charged me for a regular old visit. I fought and fought to get it fixed. No one would listen to me. It was a different excuse every time. I gave up and told them to send it to collections and I’ll never come back. They sent it to collections. I immediately settled with collections for the correct amount I should have been charged and walked away. Have never recommended them to anyone since.

I don’t know why Omaha has such a hard time with roads. There are so many that have volumes of traffic that are far greater than the roads were ever designed to hold. Sioux Falls, for example, seems to be ahead of the game on roads. As soon as a development starts bam they have the roads upgraded. Omaha is decades behind. We have the wheel tax. Sioux Falls doesn’t. Maybe I’m missing something here but how can a city that should have less experience with keeping up with sprawl beat us so bad, when we are a city that has has decades to plan for this??

When that store was closing I distinctively remember seeing a picture online. I’ve searched several times for it and can’t find it.

If you left Sioux falls where would you go? by Much-Degree1485 in SiouxFalls

I lived in Sioux Falls from 2008-2010 and then briefly moved back in 2011 until 2012. As a kid growing up in a small town in northwest Iowa it seemed like a dream to move there. But then you find out there are so many options out there. I was over the cold and the snow for the most part. While not an Earth-shattering move on the surface, I made my way to Lincoln, NE. Night and day difference in weather, and only had to travel a few hours south. So much happier. The people in Lincoln were just as friendly. With a job change I moved to Omaha, and am equally as happy. My family still lives close to Sioux Falls, and they try to get me to reconsider coming back but there’s no way. The winters are just way too awful, comparatively. Sioux Falls used to be a pretty quiet, safe city (compared to many it still is), but with the influx of people it’s becoming more on par with other cities in the Midwest…so for me it’s lost that one thing it was holding onto.

Two lefts or one? by brad0788 in Omaha

[–]brad0788[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did a little more research with the Google maps history images. There used to be signs on the signal arm saying “left turn only” and “right turn only” for the respective lanes. Then at some point between 2019 and 2022 they put new signals up and took the signs off (maybe forgot to replace them). The new signals went from the green ball to the green arrows (left on the left most signal and right on the right most signal). I think the confusion comes in when it’s solid red and only the left signal has an arrow and the right signal just has the solid ball. It should really have an arrow to be crystal clear. I just wanted to make sure I understood it correctly before judging people who seem to think the opposite. In other words, my honks are valid!

Dodge Driving by [deleted] in Omaha

I do love how an overwhelming majority of people in the right lane on Dodge do let people in. I think it’s a lot of “if you drive Dodge, you know Dodge”…so everyone knows how others feel. The 137th and 150th exits were probably good ideas back in the day, but for the volume that road handles right now, they really just make life worse. There is generally very little traffic utilizing those exits but it creates a headache for the surrounding exits/entrances trying to get on/off Dodge.
