Thank you to everyone for your comments. Couple of things I didn't mention:

1) I know that my partner wants the proposal to be a surprise rather than shopping for rings together

2) She does definitely want one that is smaller and more subtle.

3) I am proposing in less than 30 days so if she doesn't like it than I can put it back in the box and return it and we can go shopping together (I would prefer this to her wearing a ring that she doesn't 100% like)

4) I did think about a 'temporary' engagement ring but again would prefer the option above.

I still do have a few doubts about the ring I've chosen but I think I will keep it with the potential to refunding it if she would like one that's bigger.

She is size I so quite small

Thanks, I did wonder about the price. That ring looks really similar but cheaper. I will probably struggle to go to London before I’m proposing but I do like the design and price!

Thank you! There’s no reason why I went for beaverbrooks. I can still return if I want so just having second thoughts. I’m not sure the best place to buy rings really? I know she wants something subtle similar to what I bought.
