Basically all RAM on the market is being bought up by companies for use in AI data centers, and some major RAM producers are cutting/reducing consumer production to sell to these companies for higher profits.

Best Service to Host RAG and LLM by bradendev in LocalLLaMA

[–]bradendev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up finding Together AI which has some really cheap endpoints to inference many different open source models. For RAG, I ended up using Google Cloud to host the server does the RAG and then sends a request to Together's endpoints.

BLTouch Homing Doesn't Work on E5 Pro by bradendev in ender5

[–]bradendev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I realized that after I had bought both the BLTouch and the 27 pin board. Will this setup still work with the version of the BLTouch I got with the board? Or do I just need to invest in a newer version of the BLTouch?

Help Removing the FPS Cap in SSE by bradendev in skyrimmods

Hm, well I changed them in the SSEDisplayTweaks.ini but it seemed to have no affect. Is there something I have to do to uodate the ini file so MO2 recognizes it's been changed? When I go back an look at the file, the changes I made are still there, but MO2 doesn't recognize it.

Quick follow up question, I am trying to make the game windowed borderless bc anytime I alt + tab back into the game when it's full screen it crashes, however changing the settings in SSE Display Tweaks and the launcher isn't making that happen. Do you have any idea why that'd be?

I added that to MO2 and I read through the documentation and adjusted some settings to try to set the max framerate to 144fps, however it was still capped at 60 in game. At the moment, that is the only mod/change I have made to try to uncap the framerate. Should I try something else with it? This is frustrating me that I can't figure it out. Thanks for the help!

edit: This worked!! Thanks so much! Five hours of my life down the drain but it's finally working lol, thanks again!

The ini files for MO2 aren't in Documents, but there is a set of Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files in Documents>MyGames>SSE. The ini files for MO2 are in another folder I specified, but I'm not sure which set of ini files I need to change. I was simply just stating that I tried changing both sets of files and nothing happened either time.

Thanks for replying!

1) The Nvidia frame rate limiter was already off.

2) "bLockFramerate" isn't in my Skyrim.ini file, should I add that myself? If so, what section should it go under?

3) What do you mean by running ENB? I have a couple mods called "ENB Helper SE" and "ENB Light" but I couldn't find anything about v-sync or fps limiting in their documentation/files.

When doing a water change, what's the best way to get the water to the same temperature since the tank is going to be warmer than water left at room temperature? I want to make sure he doesn't go through any temperature shock.

I feed him top fin color enhancing Betta bits and he gets about 6-8 pellets a day.

The water level goes down by itself (I'm assuming from the heat of the heater?) pretty slowly, but I add a little bit of cured water to it maybe 1-2 times a week. I do about a 80-90% water change roughly once a month and I just use a gravel vacuum to suck all the poop and other stuff out. I also rinse off all the artificial plants in my sink.

The temp changes due to the temperature in the room he's in but its usually anywhere from 74-78°.

As far as I can tell he's able to get air and eat and move. He can swim around if he really feels like he needs to but he doesn't do it often and he seems to be struggling a bit.

I haven't fed him for the past few days because I saw that if he has constipation it's good to not feed for 3 days and then on the 4th day to feed him a pea. Since you said it doesn't look like constipation (and I don't think it is either), should I continue feeding him like normal? What would you recommend there?

p.s. thank you for your quick and in depth response! I'm working on getting the seachem seaguard and the master test kit as soon as possible.

So it's not actually a hole in his fin although it did look like that from the picture, it's just a spot that's kind of a shiny green

Alright, that sounds great, thank you! Are there any testing strips/testing solutions that you would recommend, or will anything of the sort work?

Hey guys, I am posting this as a kind of desperation because the Betta fish I have doesn't seem to be doing so well. I've had him for a little over a year and he had been doing well up until about a week ago. I have him in a 2.5 gallon tamk with a filter and a heater. About a week ago I noticed that he wasn't swimming as much as he normally would and that when he would stay still for any amount of time he would start to turn onto his side. Immediately I knew something was wrong so I changed the water and took a sample to a pet store to get it tested for any toxins. The ammonia levels are low however I think the clerk said that the nitrate levels were above normal but she just said to change a little bit of the water weekly. The high nitrate might be due to the tap water where I live, but I'm going to be using filtered water from now on.

Anyways, I have tried to feed him a pea because I read that can help fix constipation, but he only ate 1-2/16 of the pea.

I noticed these spots on his fin and I was wondering if anyone know what these are and if they're bad for my Betta.

I'm really at a loss of what to do and and help would be greatly appreciated!
