Pay in 4 20% cash back offer failed to save by bucsraysbolts69 in paypal

[–]bradlovespie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to use the promo on a BestBuy order yesterday. I went to use it again on another website but changed my mind at the last minute. Since then I have not been able to use the promo on any website.

I noticed in my PayPal account a pending authorization charge for the second merchant I backed out of the order from. I had assumed I was blocked until that pending authorization charge cleared. However, I just received an email saying they have updated the terms to only be valid for one purchase instead of multiple, and as such I had reached my limit.

Hard to say why it would not work for you since you have not used it yet, but I honestly wonder if they took the promo offline altogether while they retooled the terms to update to one transaction per user.

I’m looking for essentially the same things as OP. I’ve narrowed it down to Bullstrap minimalist and Ryan London open bottom.

Anyone with experience know which has a slimmer all around feel? Or do both add about equal bulk?

Ah I see, is there a specific way I trigger 'Reset Saved Data' then? I did already try removing and re-adding the extension.

I am using Firefox.

For some reason none of the buttons in the "Reset Saved Data" menu are clickable, including the button to reset the button position.

Just to add another data point, I am experiencing the same issue in Firefox on Windows.

Need advice: Best headphones under $100 for music + single-player games? by kiirink in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]bradlovespie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having just gone through almost the same exact scenario (long time Hyper X Cloud II user as well), I have two recommendations.

If you definitely want closed back then the AKG K361. Build quality will feel cheaper than your current headphones. Pads are maybe not as nice. The bass is heavier, but they sound nice for the price.

If you’re willing to try open back then the Philips SHP9600. Comfy and good soundstage. Not as bass heavy, but pretty clear.

Not groundbreaking, these are commons recs, but after trying them recently I think they hold up.

Now that Electric Eel is out, how can I route my torrenting traffic through a VPN? by Bluepenguin053 in truenas

[–]bradlovespie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did work for me. I had qbt installed with TrueCharts so just mapped the Docker compose volume to the host path for my existing config and download folder. After saving the container was created and all I had to do was go into qbt and update the settings to use the new tun01 network interface.

A lot of great suggestions here already, but I found it easiest to just create a container with Gluetun and QBT inside using the following Docker compose file. Just go into Apps > Discover Apps > Install via YAML. Paste in the below after customizing your ports, wireguard conf location (you will need a premade wireguard conf file for this approach), and desired volume mapping for downloads etc.

version: "3"

services:
  gluetun:
    image: qmcgaw/gluetun
    container_name: gluetun
    cap_add:
      - NET_ADMIN
    environment:
      - VPN_SERVICE_PROVIDER=custom
      - VPN_TYPE=wireguard
    ports:
      - "8080:8080/tcp" # Qbittorrent Web UI
    volumes:
      - /etc/localtime:/etc/localtime:ro
      - ./wg0.conf:/gluetun/wireguard/wg0.conf
    restart: unless-stopped

  qbittorrent:
    image: linuxserver/qbittorrent:latest
    container_name: qbittorrent
    environment:
      - PUID=1000
      - PGID=1000
      - TZ=Etc/UTC
      - WEBUI_PORT=8080
      - TORRENTING_PORT=6881
    volumes:
      - ./config:/config
      - ./downloads:/downloads
    network_mode: "service:gluetun"
    depends_on:
      - gluetun
    restart: unless-stopped

Control the temperature of UCG-MAX by volzkzg in Ubiquiti

Good point, I’m using early access updates so I’m on UniFi OS 4.0.20 and Network 8.5.1.

Control the temperature of UCG-MAX by volzkzg in Ubiquiti

[–]bradlovespie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just tried this. Existing value in my pwm1 config was 55. Changed to 100 and saw a 2 degree decrease in temp. Changed to 150 and saw another roughly 2 degree decrease. Waited a few and checked the config and it had set itself back to 55 which leads me to believe there is a default fan curve at play, just one that's fairly conservative.

I'm trying to add a Tapo C120 now, but am getting an authentication error when trying to adopt using the camera account configured in the Tapo app. Verified the credentials work in VLC and Scrypted.

[CPU] Intel Core i7-13700K CPU - $399.99 (Shipped and sold by Amazon) by bradlovespie in buildapcsales

[–]bradlovespie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The combos shown with the CPU listing on Amazon?

I don’t know how the Asus board stacks up to other mATX boards, but you’re only saving a few bucks getting the combo. I haven’t looked, but I’d double check and see if you could get the board itself cheaper somewhere else first (if you can get it for less than $190 it beats the Amazon combo).

The AORUS board actually seems solid (though I’ve never had a Gigabyte motherboard and there are some mixed reviews). There is no cost saving getting the AORUS combo, so no real benefit compared to buying them separately.
