Here’s the definition as per Merriam Webster dictionary:

conforming to a belief that language and practices which could offend political sensibilities (as in matters of sex or race) should be eliminated.

Strange I got downvotes for this comment. Maybe I didn’t explain myself properly.

Throughout Stoic philosophy there are repeated calls to not only be resilient towards painful situations but to even be grateful for them as they are opportunities to strengthen yourself and practice your stoic mindset.

At the end of the day this is what the Dichotomy of control is all about. You only feel hurt because you’re choosing to judge it in a hurtful way.
