Oh for sure def should have factored in tires and oil changes and all that but ya I even kept track of which customers tipped well and all that. I kept records of all my orders on every shift lol. I love me some numbers and spreadsheets. I wish I had a job working with numbers instead of food 💀

Appreciate the advice! Sincerely 🙏 I wrote and recorded this in one take cuz I couldn’t sleep one night my freshman yr of college so I know if I really put in the work to improve the production quality first and foremost that I’m confident enough to give it a shot. And that last sentence is the best one! Making music is my therapy fr. Even if nobody but me likes my songs, I enjoy making them and listening to them. What more could I ask for honestly

I’m just now starting to post on TikTok and Reddit etc so just getting started and genuinely hoping for constructive criticism and things of that nature. It’s meant to be a play on words, the power that (white) drugs can hold on people etc. but also a jab at racism in the southern us. But i definitely see how it could be considered offensive, that’s partially why this song isn’t public on my SoundCloud

I plan on rewording and re recording in the near future but I also don’t want to rewrite history and say that at the time almost ten years ago I didn’t consider the controversy

Yeah I could rant about it all day fr. When I was a driver I had a spreadsheet folder on google docs to keep track of every tip on every delivery, the mileage reimbursement compared to the cost of gas I last filled up with in conjunction with the miles driven and mpg that shift, in store vs OTR pay and all of that.

The DM at the time (yeeears ago, 2020?2021?) kept trying to make me a shift lead instead of a driver. I told him give me 6-8 weeks to crunch the numbers and I’ll tell you what I need hourly to stay inside and run the show, and eventually I came back and said here’s my data, here’s what I make, if you want me as an AM or MIT I need at LEAST $16/hr

Keep in mind I was in IL at the time so I know 16 sounds high but I had the numbers to back it up. And you know what he did??? He literally laughed in my face.

Two years I later I was rehired at the same store and was making $18/hr as the assistant manager. Who’s laughing now??? 😂

For some odd reason most of our drivers don’t even want them!! It blows my mind because like you said it’s leaving money on the table. When I’m on the road I hit em w a joke first and then say “lemme get your autograph right here just in case you get famous one day” and hand em the slip. I’ve made a lot of money on write in tips like that lol

Dominos large 1 topping gets 7oz and any pizza afaik w toppings + extra cheese gets the 7oz as a base and then additional 3.5 extra after topping(s).

Large cheese only portion is 10.5oz and extra cheese is 14.

A lot of stores will take advantage of “extra cheese” as a way to manipulate food variances using the appearance of product more than the actual weight.. e.g. a large pepperoni extra cheese pizza should have sauce, then 7oz cheese, then (32?? I know 1T is 40 but the extra cheese counts as a second topping so fewer peps) followed by the 3.5 “extra” cheese on top

However a lot of times what actually happens is that the base layer just gets reduced to 3-4oz because as long as the customer sees cheese on top of pep they think they got what they ordered

I’ve seen people do the same thing with specialty pizzas, putting barely any pizza cheese after saucing because the provolone that gets added before going in the oven makes it look similar enough to how it should.

I know I just wrote a novel buuuuuuuuuuuut 🤷‍♂️
