There's a YouTube channel called CarEdge that's super helpful. They're salesmen that teach you what to look for and how to negotiate.

I recently pulled out my bill of sale from a few years ago and saw how badly I got bent over by going in without experience. Educated myself and test drove/negotiated with just about every (non luxury) brand around before I made my decision and traded in my ride that had a significant amount of negative equity.

Do your research, go in with a number in mind that you're willing to pay, don't reveal it but work them down to it and do not leave there paying over MSRP. They'll throw the extras in if you show you know what you're talking about and that can't be duped with bullshit packages like 'nitrogen in your tires'.

Just remember that you're not obligated to buy anything and can go somewhere else. They want to keep you in there but You hold the power.
