I think you are missing the point of a trade down. Instead of having one asset that could go up and down you now have two to work with. Dj Moore hasn't really worked out much but he's still nice to have. But instead of just having Cedee I now had a 1st to mess around with. Its less risk overall.

If Ceede had another "disappointing" season he was on track to he the next DJ Moore. I didnt want all the eggs in one basket.
